What’s your interior design process?
We start off with a phone interview to see if we are a good fit. Once we establish that, we come out to your home or complete the consult remotely. There’s no need to feel judged, as we just want to help you with your space.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Several years ago, I first staged a home for a relative who needed help selling her home. Two months later, we were up and running.

Color Consult
I’d love to help you pick out the right paint color palette! I follow a certified color expert, 6-step color read process that starts with your preferences, assesses your current furnishings and finishes, and then puts it all together. I even bring in large, color samples based on our phone interview that you get to keep, so you can SEE and live with the color choices on the wall before you commit.
Each color consultation begins with a phone interview and then moves to an on-site consultation (or remote consult ) where I pick your entire paint palette (walls, trim, ceilings, etc...) as well as finishes for up to four main rooms in the home for $350. At the end of the two hours, you will have a thorough plan for each paint color to use for all walls, trim, ceilings, cabinet, as well as the finish for the spaces we go over. You will even have a set of design ideas you can do yourself down the road that will enhance the space and palette we chose. We charge this amount since color is extraordinarily complicated and can be done wrong which can be very costly and time consuming. We also value our skill set with color and want to help you-no holding back.
Redesign
Nova can help you fall in love with your home again. We can provide interior decorating and accessories to finish off and give your home shape or use what you already have in a completely different setup. We can help you source the items and can offer you To-the-Trade discounts when appropriate.
Occupied Staging
Homes that are being lived in need Nova’s “fresh set of eyes”. Homeowners often are unable to step back and see what needs to be changed, or may not even know what buyers are looking for. Changes such as updates or repairs are often over estimated by a potential buyer so it just makes sense to take care of them and also make the best first impression possible before listing (when possible). You’ll see how investing even 1% of your home value can reward you with 6-10% on your return of investment. Using a Stager can also greatly reduce the time your house spends on the market.
Vacant Staging
Often empty homes portray a cold, sterile environment or make it difficult for buyers to envision living there. This can contribute to taking longer to sell and for a lower price. The great thing about vacant homes is that it lends a clear canvas for us to stage. We have a large choice of items from a 30K sq ft warehouse to style your home or listing. When working with a budget, we often stage important rooms to help market the home.
