Describe your creative process.
My creative process varies from project to project, but in general, I begin with a consultation with my client in which I familiarize myself with my client's requirements and desires, his or her specific business personality, and his or her industry. From here, I conduct some research on my client's industry as well as his or her competition. Depending on the project, I will offer a few initial designs to my client to choose from, and I will offer 3 revisions on his or her chosen design to ensure that it will fit the exact needs.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
I need exact project specs, project audience, project goal, any supporting copy/logos/graphics/imagery to be included in project, relevant company information, and any other important information involving the project.
What do you love most about your job?
I love when I have solved an important problem for my clients through a visual solution, and seeing how that directly impacts the success of my client's business as well as his or her happiness.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to make a greater difference to more people than I was able to working in the corporate environment. I knew that my skills could be used on a greater level, and I am definitely more fulfilled through that!
