As the Executive Director of a treatment center in Cary I can whole-heartedly recommend the NC Center for Resiliency to anyone who needs quality psychotherapy services. After several discussions with Kim, a tour of their center and meeting with many of their therapists we have felt very comfortable recommending their services to our discharging clients and also our family & friends. I especially appreciate the fact they have a diversity in approach and a skilled admissions counselor who listens to the client's needs and matches them to a therapist that is a great fit for them. Everyone is anxious about taking the first step and getting help. I hope that their wonderful reviews will help lower that barrier and get you or your loved one in the door. More...

I've been in and out of therapy for over 20 years. My time with NCCR has been the only time I've felt that it was more than a bandaid getting me from week to week. I became more confident, more resilient, and generally find more joy in life. My personal self-growth with NCCR was such a good experience, that I added career work with another therapist in the group, marriage work with a third, and even participated in a group with yet another. All experiences were invaluable to my growth and becoming happy with the person I am today. I cannot say enough about my experience with NCCR or the benefits you can gain from their somatic approach. I have referred many patients to NCCR for SE Therapy for PTSD and anxiety. I have not been disappointed and my patients have gotten better.

The people who work here are in it for the right reasons and that's about the most succinct way I can describe this facility.

I attended the 2019 New Year Visioning Playshop for Women and was so glad I did! The bonding time with other women and the clarity that came from having space to think about my intentions and what is and isn't serving me was invaluable. More programming like this please!

The staff is very helpful. This is not ordinary talk therapy. This group is based on the Somatic Experiencing work of Peter Levine. It's basically helping us expand our capacity to tolerate the feelings that come up when we experience the slings and arrows of life so we can have more freedom, love, joy. More...
