Overall I’d say it’s in my top 5 of WI BBQ. The meat was tender and had good flavor and texture, but it was the sides that had me. Places like this typically do the bbq pretty good and have so-so sides, or the sides are fantastic and their meats are so-so. The foods here were good all the way around. Everything I ate had good seasoning and I really enjoyed it. Pleasantly surprised! Will be back to try the fish and a few more menu items. More...

We stopped Saturday early evening for a late lunch/early dinner. I've been wanting to try this place for quite a while but have hesitated. We lived in Memphis for 6 months over the span of a year in 2017/2018 while my daughter was getting medical treatments. Due to the living arrangements in temporary housing we ate out alot! We tried every high rated bbq place in the area. We've eaten the best in Kansas city, Chicago, and several others as well. I also bbq a fair bit at home. This place crushed it! The burnt ends were amazing, baby back ribs were perfect. Tasty brisket, good spare ribs. The beans were packed with meat and very balanced. The mac and cheese does wisconsin proud! The sauces were varied and very well done. The hurricanes, old fashions, and mineral point mule were some of the best cocktails we've had anywhere. Then the dessert... Wife had a piece of peanut butter cup cheesecake which was really good. The chocolate pecan pie was a religious experience! It's not cheap but it's worth it. I had their Thursday shrimp special with shrimp two ways (grilled and battered) along with a side of macaroni and cheese. It was the best mac & cheese I've ever had ! Full of flavor and very creamy. Both styles of shrimp were also excellent. The shrimp was firm and flavorful. The staff was very attentive.
