I ordered 3 sub platters online on Tuesday and put the pick up time has 3:00 Thursday. I received emails from you confirming the order, then the day of the order received an email saying everything was confirmed once again. So when I went to pick up my order it was not even close to being ready and the staff wasn’t even sure what my order was. They tried to hand me one platter, which wouldn’t have even touched what I needed for my event. Thankfully I had a little time and told them I would be back in 2 hours at 5:00. Everyone LOVED the smoothies! They arrived on time and in a cooler- which kept them cold until we were ready to serve. Each smoothie was labeled and the owner provided a menu to display that had what was in each smoothie. This was a healthy treat for the staff and we will definitely use them again. Picking the order from honey baked ham was not an issue.....but the told me I was entitled to a discount for going thru ezcater. ...ezcater charged me $255.88 and they were suppose to charge me $225.46 (according to honey baked ham when I picked up order) I called ezcater and they would not give my discount of $30.....I would have been better off ordering thru the store instead....will not use ezcater anymore in the future More...

Zero stars should be an option. As a food delivery driver, I’ve had nothing but bad experience with them. They farm out some, if not all of their jobs to other companies (Doordash/GrubHub/UberEats,etc…)I’ve had them cancel an order right before delivery, resulting in being unassigned from the order and unpaid for the delivery. This also results in the middleman company not getting paid either since the order was cancelled. All while their customer gets their food delivered at zero cost to EZCater. Just run away. More...

Just as they claim "Fresh." I ordered two sandwich platters and customized them both with sauces and veggies on the side. It was for my birthday lunch . I couldn't be more pleased. I was even late picking them up. Everything was perfect and delicious. You can bet I will certainly order from them again and again and again. I ordered days prior online. We are a small business doing whatever it takes to survive in the past 1.5 years since Covid irrupted into our lives. ezCater is a beacon of dark-light when it comes to small business support. They will roll every type of charges on the vendor/merchant (including customer tip which is rolled to their shipping service instead of the provider). Despite their promises, their platform did not live up to its promise of elevated funnel of orders...in short, in a tough new world of dying small business, ezCater proved to be a ruthless vulture. Disappointed. First time trying to use these services and will be my last. Placed my order 72 hours in advance and with less than 48 hour warning they canceled my order for 36 people. PRRUJZ4:00 delivery time came at 3:15 resulting in overcooked broccoli kept warm until serving at 5:00. Received olive oil and signature herbs, but no bread. Had to run to Publix. I wanted to follow up regarding the events of last month. Even though Subway didn't have LEAF lettuce, and I decided not to place an order, the person I did a chat with was very nice. My issue lies with the Subway in Naperville directly. You are an all-American company, but don't carry leaf lettuce; having only shredded or chopped lettuce. This is disrespectful to grieving families in their time of need. I ordered from Caputo's instead because of this. The lady I had a chat with at ezCatering was incredibly helpful and kind. She likely was disturbed by Subway's lack of respect, too, and my hope is she forgives and forgets as our family has. If you need catering, avoid the Subway in Naperville, try Caputo's instead, and have a chat or call with a nice person with ezCatering. More...

This was my first experience with ezCater and it was over the top fantastic from the first call to the last call. The customer service people were so helpful right to the end. I went with the Brothers Deli and they also followed my instructions, the delivery was right on time and the presentation and food was amazing. Went to pick-up my order (Subway)on today that I placed on Friday and it was not ready because the order not been placed in the system by the owner. Had to call the 1800 number (ez cater)so they could contact the owner and had to wait another hour for the food to be prepared. The young lady was working by herself because she said that the whole staff walked out. She also said the owner was responsible for making the catering order and the owner was supposed to be there. They never showed up. I called ez-cater and was told by Alex that I would receive a discount for the late food. Could you believe it,they(ez-cater) gave me, yes gave me a HUGE, 10 % discount (7.00) and added 5.00 for a tip, what tip. When you add that up that equals about a $2.00 discount. That's crazy. Catering Gone WRONG!Our catering experience as a company was terrible. I ordered breakfast for 3 different offices, and this is the only one I ordered through this company. Our card was charged, we received receipt of the order. The ordering process was very smooth. However, the day of the order, it hadn't shown up. I sat on hold trying to reach the company, food still hadn't shown up. I called the restaurant to check on the order, they never received the order and followed up to tell me that they don't do any catering and did not even know how this company received their menu or information for catering.Needless to say, the restaurant pulled this together for me, from no help from this company. I have tried via chat and via phone to reach them and only get placed on hold with waiting for an associate, or just waiting to be connected through the chat and never reach an individual.VERY FRUSTRATING More...

Three of the four restaurant/companies we worked with were good. One of them canceled the day they were supposed to deliver the food, after approving the order. I don't think companies that ezCater works with should approve an order and then back out last minute. The only other issue with the other companies were that they came earlier than we requested. We were hosting a party event and made a catering order from Wild wings cafe. When we arrived, we were told that our order was not placed. Waited, then it was said that they were trying to find our order. The hostess then notified us that our was “lost” but they found it. We were then told that it would take 30 mins to make our order; this is 15 minutes before our events starts. Because of the delay of service we had guest wait and had to delay our event for 45 mins, almost an hour. There needs to be a change in the ordering process and ensuring that orders are received and accepted. The food was of good quality, but the time delay is unacceptable especially when you have time limit on spaces. My order never showed up for my event. I had ordered two 6ft long subs from Subway about a week in advance of my event. wanted to give plenty of notice. I also called ezCater the day before my event to confirm that my order would arrive but was told that the vendor was not answering and could not confirm until the next day. Delivery time came and went with no food delivered. The only reason I gave two stars instead of zero was that I was able to reach someone from ezCater and they were super helpful and scrambled to rectify the situation. We ended up with a lot of pizza instead of sub sandwiches which doesn't really pair well with potato salad and baked beans but was better than nothing. So, Zero stars for botching my original order and the ensuing stress, but definite redemption with customer service!! More...

It was a good experience. The only two points I'd say surprised me a bit was that...1) The food came from a further away store rather than the one I requested on the EXCater form I completed. 2) Maybe due to the distance and wanting to avoid being late, the food arrived an hour prior to when requested so we just had to reconfigure a few things and didn't have room in our refrigerator to keep it cool.
