one of the best Nordstrom stores I've ever visited, attention to detail, well organized, friendly staff, great selection of shoes, sneakers, for men and women. a great place to experience if you're looking for advice on cosmetics the ladies are super talented, experienced, and warm and welcoming. great sale items! the mall is also loaded with other unique department stores, and is pristine and an architectural gem to experience. great for photo ops! I went in at the 11th hour before Christmas to pick up some gifts. The lady in purses not only helped me there; she also asked what else i was shopping for. When i told her a specific perfume, she looked it up and special ordered it for me. Then walked me over to a different department for another gift and rang it up for me. Come on Ladies and Gents. ‍ Waterside is The place for you to treat yourself to glitz glam and some of the finest customer service you have ever seen.  I'm like the gal in Pretty Woman who was there last week and back to revisit some of the treasures I eyed the week before.I sauntered through the isle with Mac, London, Sissy, Eremis, Erno Laszlo, catching every corner of my gaze. I made my way back to the Organic Collagen line I used on my last adventure. Karen, my sales associate, was knowledgeable about all of the lines, so she was able to guide me in my decision making process. AhhhhMazing facial wash by Emeris, infusing with Collagen and makes your skin feel and look remarkable.Take care of your skin ladies! I love getting my eyebrows done here with Thiersa @ Anastasia. It's expensive for eyebrow waxing ($30 + tip), but I trust that my eyebrows always look amazing when she's done with me. I drive from Fort Myers, and it has always been worth it. I've let other people do my eyebrows (salons, threading, Ulta, etc), and they always take out too much hair or arch too high. Sigh. Appointments with Thiersa fill up quick, so I always like to book my next appointment with her while I'm still there. More...

This is a much smaller format Nordstrom than others I have visited.  The expected exceptional service certainly existed. The trouble with being a top performer is that the expectation is raised for every visit.  With this in mind, I can only give this store 4 out of 5 stars.The men's department - of which I am most familiar - was very nice.  I didn't make a significant purchase, but the salesman was great.  he had some suggestions that I have since very much appreciated.Nordstrom certainly caters to its target demographic - and this store fits in well with the other stores at Waterside Shops. Yum! the food was really good!  I had the bistro sandwich with fries.  The fries were absolutely amazing!  The sandwich was just ok.  Turkey was a bit dry but tasty when I added the sauce on top of the sandwich.  Service was a bit slow but not terrible.  Service with a smile was appreciated.  Glad I didn't have to pay for it though.  Quite expensive for my taste but is nonetheless worth the price. :) More...

This is a review for the cafe in Nordstrom. It's on the second floor and has a variety of sandwiches, salads, etc. My absolute favorite thing to get there is the bistro crab bisque and the bistro club (sliced chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, green beans, garlic aioli, bacon) which comes with French fries. .SO GOOD!!! You order and pay at a register then sit at the table of your choice and it's full service from there. It's always great service and people and delicious food. More...

This review is for the Nordstrom Cafe.  I never knew until the other day that there was an excellent restaurant located in the store.  I can probably attribute that to me not being out shopping very often, but I was happy to discover this place after hearing about it at work.It's a nice place to escape for a quite, relaxing and casual lunch.  You order at the counter but then get full service once you're seated.  Everything is made fresh and you can really tell the quality of the ingredients in the food.  I've had the Prime Rib sandwich and the Bistro Chicken and Frites so far, both delicious.  The only detraction from the place is the pricing which seems a little high for lunch, but I guess that is to be expected as it is Nordstroms after all and at the Waterside Shops. A few year's ago, the Oracle that is Oprah said, "You have to get things tailored."    That's a nice concept for anyone with enough assets to  have personal staff, or for old school Europeans who hang all of five articles in their closet with a retail value of a small house. But for the few occasions when I must trust a pro, Nordstrom's alteration department is outstanding.  And when travelling, you can pop in to a local Nordstrom's for a free steam press of any Nordstrom's garment that you've brought along.My legs may be long enough to touch the ground, but they aren't tall enough to fit into most off-the-rack pants.  I usually choose to butcher the hems at home, or I will give them to a dry cleaner's seamstress to fix.  This week I chose an awesome long skirt that I entrusted to Nordstrom's streamstress.  Wow.  In just a few days, she worked her magic, and I now own a skirt that looks like it was made just for me.Very worth the indulgence.
