I've been working with Nolan for almost 6 months now and he is amazing. His meal plans are simple and easy to follow with minimal preparation, using wholesome food. I am in my 50's and between Covid, bad eating habits and menopause, my weight and mood spiraled. I was so done with fad diets and gimmicks for quick weight loss, so I did my homework to find a nutrition coach. Coach King has been fantastic to work with. I started the program almost a month ago and have lost 8.2 pounds. Coach King gives honest feedback each week and promptly answers every question I've had. He also created a work out plan which includes a few yoga classes and strength training that I started before meeting Coach King. I now understand how nutrition, my metabolism, weight training and mind set all need to work together to achieve my goals, and I have Coach King to thank for that! The plan he specifically designed for me is to ensure it's safe and good for my body, which was also very important to me. I would like to preface this review by stating that I wrote my original review while in the gym and then accidentally deleted about five paragraphs where I absolutely went OFF about how satisfied I am with Nolan and his work. I started my fitness and health journey with Mr. King about 5 weeks ago. At the time I had reached a low. I was about to lose my job due to the banking crisis. I had no motivation to get out of bed. Let alone to eat well and care for my body. Enter Nolan. 5 weeks ago you could not pay me money to feel comfortable being at the gym alone let alone to casually leave a review about my trainer in between sets about how improved my life has been since hiring this man. My reasons for not wanting to hire a professional trainer or nutritionist in the past have been: money, time, and lack of motivation. I felt that I could accomplish the same things by myself for free. For years I struggled with staying on track of either my diet or my fitness routine (of which I had none). Having struggled with depression and anxiety since a teen I knew that motivation was a barrier. But I never realized that people exist to help work through these very human struggles. Nolan’s 12 week program made it easy for me. I didn’t have to think about how scary the gym was going to be. The fact that I didn’t know how to use any of the machines. I didn’t even have to worry about injuring my lower back because Nolan tailored my workouts specifically for me. The nutrition plan was also something scary. I thought I may be limited and wouldn’t be able to enjoy the food I always had. It turns out I can. And now I know how much and how often I can while still being able to achieve my long term fitness goals. I was also scared to work with somebody as fancy as Nolan. I thought a trainer might make me feel insecure or that I would never be able to reach their standards. My experience with Nolan has been quite the opposite! I feel comfortable to ask him questions any time. He is super responsive. His positive feedback keeps me motivated to keep going. Even when I feel like it’s a silly question he has had lots of past experiences to pull from. I feel I am learning a lot on this journey and we have just gotten started! If you are on the fence about working with Nolan then I recommend you weigh the difference between fighting something on your own versus working steadily on a project with a known professional in the business. It sort of feels like having a little angel on your shoulder. You’re not alone and you know you can reach out for guidance anytime. Nolan has been a pleasure to work with. Working with Mr. King was amazing. I have been working out for over 30 years. I hadn't been reaching my goals. I told him my goals and my dietary needs, he wrote me a very simple plan, both dietary and the workout itself. Price wise is very competitive and he has several different lengths based upon your needs and budget. He had great detailed responses to each of my questions, 1000% worth the money. I spent six months working with Nolan, and that experience has changed me and my lifestyle for the better!

I started my search for a nutritionist/fitness trainer on the Thumbtack app, and after a conversation with Nolan, I felt comfortable working with him. I am so glad I did. He was able to help create the best workout plans based on my lifestyle, goals, and the equipment available to workout with. Just by following the plans week-over-week, I started to notice results. What made the difference was the nutritional side of things.

Nolan lays out the foods and portions sizes you need to eat while training to fuel your body and cut down your weight. Over the first three months, I got into the habit of meal prepping certain foods and freshly cooking others. After that, I started playing around with different food combinations and enjoying the different meals. This allowed for healthy habits to grow, and now, seven months later, I find myself wanting those foods over the processed foods and take-out.

All you need to do to succeed with Nolan is follow his plan, be transparent with him and update him about your progress, and take it one day at a time. If you continually take the program one day at a time, it's over before you know it, and you pick up many great habits along the way.

I can't thank him enough for what he has done for me. I look forward to checking in with him over time to let him know how I'm still doing.

I've been working with Nolan for about 6 weeks now and it has been a great experience. I'm down roughly 8 pounds in that time frame and that is a significant amount of progress compared to other plans/routines i've tried in the past. He created my nutrition plan and is very flexible as far as making changes based on the results we see every week and whenever I have a question he's quick to respond via email. I could write a novel here but I'm going to try to keep it short and sweet. Nolan has been such a lifesaver. I had an extremely difficult time for three years with my health and couldn't get any answers or help. I decided to reach out to Nolan after lots of research and take a risk. At 33 years of age, I had been feeling defeated that I had not achieved my body/fitness goals. I work out 5-6 times a week and eat generally clean but was not seeing results on my own. All of that slowly changed after working with Nolan.

Nolan is professional and to the point. If you stick to his plan and listen to his weekly feedback, you will see results. For me, I lost on average .5-2 lbs. a week depending on how closely I followed his plan the previous week. If you want to see similar results, you have to do the work.

Again, what you see is what you get. The plan created by Nolan was not impossible but required patience. Weight loss is slow, transformation takes even longer.

I would personally refer Nolan to my friends and family or to anyone looking to make a serious change. After 12 weeks, I am down nearly 10 lbs. and am looking the most athletic I have looked in my life! No crash diets here, just results and science!

Working with Nolan has been incredible! I have really learned the keys to eating right and cutting weight after long bulking periods following his program. I dropped 20lbs in the first month pretty much and I’m never hungry or starving. Do yourself a favor and sign up with him. He has plans for anything from 1 month to 1 year! Working with Nolan has been great. I had a total thyroidectomy and couldn't lose weight the way that I used to anymore. This was very difficult to deal with as I've always been athletic. Nolan listened to me and made a diet and workout plan that works for me. At 4 months, I am down 32 pounds. We're not done, though, as I want to lose at least 10 more, then reassess my goals and perhaps start building. Nolan listens and gives very motivational guidance. What can I say.....the King is King justifiably. Nolan is the most amazing trainer I’ve ever had. He truly knows what he is doing and I wouldn’t even give a second thought if you are interested in a program. Abs- forever I thought were unattainable. Today- coming in very well and getting better by the day. My whole body has transformed in the close to 2 months I’ve been training under him. I feel better mentally and physically. Results come fast with this guy and he is worth every cent. He gives such great advice when you are uncertain, he always checks up on you, his response time is incredible, and he truly makes it personal. The guy is a superhero. I was searching for a specific fitness professional because I had very specific goals. It took me about a year and half to find the perfect resource. Search was over when I finally found Nolan a couple months ago. Looked at his page, his credentials, and all of his reviews and had a gut feeling that moving forward with purchasing his consultation package was going to be a win win. Had something personal things going on, had to cancel and reschedule like 3 times but Nolan was always super professional, cordial and extremely patient with me. We finally had a session about a week ago and it was a success. I have worked with nutritionist, dietitians and multiple professionals from the fitness industry and Nolan is by far one of the best. The most important thing is that he customized a diet for my specific goals but also took into consideration all of my concerns and allergies etc. It was great working with a professional who did not sell me any “get big” secret potion, supplements and or give a hyped-up sales pitch. I've been working with Nolan off and on for a few years now, and his program is GAME CHANGING. In my most recent three month program with him, I went from 6'6 205 lbs, to 6'6 220 lb, gaining close to 15 lbs of muscle. I am now working with him for a full year, and I am well on my way to reaching 250lbs. I never thought reaching Gronk status was achievable, but it is now in that realm of possibility due to his guidance.

The biggest difference between Nolan's programs and others is that he creates a very robust, easy to follow diet and workout routine, coupled with daily weigh ins and weekly check ins. It allows you to stay disciplined, and keeps you accountable. That structure takes out all the overthinking that can happen when it comes to fitness, and lets good habits develop faster.

I found Nolan by searching online and I was nervous at first to hire based off reviews only but I am glad that I did. Being online allowed a level of flexibility and communication that worked well with my goals and schedule. Nolan was quick to respond to questions, he was always professional and positive.

I feel the number one benefit from working with Nolan was he was able to redirect me when I felt things weren't going right. I tend to be very hard on myself and felt weight loss or a diet of any kind is meant as punishment for past indulgences (boiled chicken and cardio). During this process I never felt limited or starving but when I did hit some bumps in the road he made simple course corrections that kept me from derailing all my progress like I have in the past. This type of investment is not about perfection but progress and it has been worth it since day one. Highly recommend.

Nolan is a freaking superstar of a coach! I was at a point in my life where I tried every fad diet under the sun and really wanted to lose weight in a healthy and sustainable manner. I am so thankful I found Nolan and hired him when seeking a nutritionist. He is extremy patient, professional, and overall a nice guy! He gives you advice based on science and logic. Every single day is a blessing and I believe all of us should give ourselves the opportunity to feel our best every day. In our country today, many individuals are experiencing nutrient deficiencies, which can contribute to lower energy levels, fatigue, poor sleep quality, poor concentration, and poor performance. By eating healthier while simultaneously improving overall body composition, quality of life will undoubtedly improve for most individuals.

Personalization around the clients specific needs and goals is the most crucial aspect of helping them achieve their goals. Genetics and the demographic of clients are widely varied, which calls for a more tailored approach for each individual client. I prefer to collect as much information from the client pertaining to their goals, lifestyle, current nutrition/training regimen (if applicable), and stats (height, weight, progress photos) before getting started.

The secret to achieving your goals in all aspects of life is to focus on today. Looking too far ahead and pondering how long it may take to achieve a specific goal can be overwhelming. By having a system and daily habits in place, you'll be able to follow that system and execute those daily habits, which will allow the progress to compound over the long-term. It's important to take the guesswork out of the equation, so you know exactly what needs to be accomplished every day.

I absolutely love to work with someone who is experiencing how life changing it feels to exercise and eat healthy for the first time. My fascination with the positive effects exercise and healthy eating has on the body came about at the age of 14. At age 17, I began working as a Wellness Instructor at my local YMCA. Eventually, I moved on to my studies at Florida International University and began working with clients on my own, while pursuing my degree. After graduating with my degree in 2015, I transitioned to working with clients full-time and have been doing so ever since.

If a client is truly ready to make a healthy lifestyle change, I have the experience and tools necessary to help them achieve their goals. The systems I create for my clients are completely personalized, streamlined, and easy to follow. I ensure my plans are as detailed as possible in order to remove the guesswork from clients daily routines. I also provide full support along the way.
