Nolan was FANTASTIC for our engagement photo shoot. He made us laugh and tolerated our inability to look the correct direction. We had a ton of fun and he took some amazing shots. He was also fantastic with our dog and making him pay attention so we could have a few pictures with him. Nolan Campbell Photography captured my wedding so beautifully, and looking through all of the images makes me feel like I'm truly reliving that day. Nolan and his wife and business partner Jennifer are wonderful people and and a pleasure to work with. During the course of our wedding day, they checked off all of the "must have" shots from our list, but also took a ton of additional pictures that were so unique and artistic and fit our style as a couple perfectly. I loved that they also took pictures of the little details... our wedding was in the mountains on a weekday, and as such, there were quite a few individuals on our guest list who weren't able to attend. The pictures of the venue, the scenery, deer grazing at the ceremony site, little flowers blooming along the path, they all helped our family and friends who weren't in attendance feel like they were there and included in those special moments. I received a small handful of fully edited teaser images the day after my wedding, which was a delightful surprise! Nolan and his wife Jennifer are amazing. From the moment we met Nolan to now, the service has been nothing less than amazing. They take your ideas and roll with it. They are flexible and give you way more than expected. My husband and I are so happy to have had them shoot our big day and to capture all of our beautiful memories. Nolan Campbell is a charming and talented photographer and part time adventurer. He photographed me and Everett last week at Red Rocks Open Space on a chilly, but sunny winter afternoon. Despite the excess of red rock backdrops and mountain peak vistas, Nolan eagerly and, at times adventurously, scouted out special and beautifully understated scenery for us to utilize for our photographs. If we turned our back too long we would turn around to see Nolan scrambling up a nearly vertical slab of rock to get the best shot - the best, and the most delightful area for pictures. His composition is artistic but very genuine. He was able to capture the spirit of our relationship in still images. And we authentically enjoyed the experience from exchanging jokes and interests to watching Nolan hop around on his step ladder like a pro. We love the photos that came out of the shoot. Nolan Campbell Photography did an amazing job at our October wedding! Looking through our wedding photos really makes me feel like I'm living the day over again. Before the wedding, we met a couple of times to talk about timelines, "must have" shots, and family dynamics. (Bless them - they gracefully maneuvered some potentially awkward family situations during our event.) Nolan and his wife Jennifer traveled 2 hours outside of Colorado Springs to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort for our wedding... throughout the entire day, they were so communicative, accommodating, and professional. They're also just a joy to work with! They made us feel very comfortable while they were photographing us, and we felt confident in their expertise. Their style is exactly what I was looking for: dramatic, artistic, and detail-oriented. They captured all of the little things that made us fall in love with our venue - the mountain views, the flowers near the ceremony site, even the wildlife! Their prices are very fair, and we received our finished photos in only 2 weeks. My husband and I were thrilled with how fast they were. I will start by saying two things: firstly, Nolan and Jennifer are awesome human beings. And secondly, they know their stuff. I'll be completely honest, I was a little bit apprehensive about having engagement pictures taken, solely because I've always found it a bit awkward to pose or to look a certain way "on cue." I have followed Nolan Campbell Photography for a long time and I'm familiar with the gorgeous photos that Nolan and Jennifer produce, but because of my tendency to be a complete weirdo when cameras are around, I still wasn't really sure how it would go. Looking back, I don't know why I was nervous. The shoot went splendidly, and even though I was sure I'd feel funny about having a big camera all up in my space, Nolan made it a genuinely fun experience! My fiancé and I felt so comfortable working with him. We only had vague ideas of what we wanted, and he ran with them, thinking up really adorable (but natural-looking) poses as we went along. We had a blast, and we can't wait to take more pictures on our wedding day! We received out edits quickly - in less than a week. This was a huge bonus us, especially because we were anxious to get our Save the Dates in the mail. During the editing process, Jennifer was communicative and shared several "sneak peeks" with us, as they became available. I'm definitely an instant gratification kind of girl, so their promptness was extremely appreciated! I could go on and on about their professionalism, the high quality images (full printing rights, by the way!), and their great energy in photoshoots... but I will try to refrain from writing a novel.
