I never write reviews, but Melissa is so exceptional I felt compelled to tell others how amazing she is! I have gone to Melissa once a month for over 4 years. It took me forever to find someone that did my hair the way I asked and wanted. I sure did find that in Melissa. I'm super picky and I can honestly say I every single time I have left there, I have LOVED my hair. She is so sweet and easy to talk to. She also does keratin treatments for straightening for me too, which is incredible! Seriously, I'm 43 and my hair is better than its ever been, all because of her! JacQue does amazing color and cuts. She listens very well and makes sure to get a sense of what the client wants. She even fixed a really bad cut (done at another salon) for me so that it looked good until it was long enough for a fresh cut. I'd recommend her to anyone.

After a not-so-great experience at another salon in Castle Rock, I decided to try Nixon & Co. This is by far the best salon experience I’ve had in recent years. Not only did I leave with the exact hair cut I wanted (took off 3+ inches), but I truly enjoyed my conversations with everyone. I have been getting my hair done in this salon for the past 5 years. I have very thick curly hair and in the past it has been hard to find a stylist that understands how to cut my type of hair. I have had the pleasure of working with several different stylists at Nixon and Company and they are ALL excellent but Amber is my favorite and always takes the time to make sure she understands exactly what my expectations are. I also get my hair colored here and it looks amazing every time I step out of the salon. They have a wide variety of customers and when I am there getting my hair done, it feels like spending time with friends. The place is beautiful, modern, clean and ALWAYS professional. There is an adorable boutique connected to the salon and it is the perfect place to find a unique piece of clothing or jewelry item and the prices are very reasonable. I have been visiting Nixon & Co for over eight years now and could not be happier with the salon. Upon entering, it's such a pleasant atmosphere. I'm always greeted very warmly and made to feel very welcome, being offered a beverage every time. Along with the salon, the have a lovely boutique offering gorgeous, unique clothing and accessories! I rarely take time to write reviews but I found the perfect stylist after 30+ years so I wanted to share. I'm not sure how long Gretchen has been with Nixon & Co but she's been cutting and highlighting my hair for 6+ months or thereabouts. My hair has never looked better with the highlights and lowlights Gretchen suggested and the compliments I receive are endless. What's not to love.
