Nitsa’s was absolutely fabulous! The girls helping me and my family throughout the process were wonderful. Great customer service! Chris was extremely helpful in picking out dresses for me to try and not rushing us at all. We made a full morning out of it and were able to bring a bottle of champagne while trying on different dresses to celebrate. Four Stars means Yay! Im a fan according to Yelp. Well, I am a fan-NOW.I went into Nitsa's when I first moved to the area almost 4 years ago, and it was a different experience than it is today. I needed a dress for Winterlark within a few weeks of living here. When I walked into Nitsa's for the first time, I did not feel very welcomed at all. I felt like I was being judged for wearing the wrong clothes, having the wrong hair, or not having the right accent to shop in the store. Being that our options are very limited in WS, I had to stay and at least look around. The style of dresses that were in the store 4 yrs ago looked like they were for a much older crowd. I was in my mid 40s then. I wanted to this vent and feel somewhat sexy, not too conservative or frumpy. When somebody did help me with a dress or two that I thought might be ok, I felt the pressure of a sale, not that a dress actually REALLY looked good on my body type.I do not like to give my money to places like that...so I left, drove to Charlotte and bought a dress at Nordstom (who are all about customer service, no matter who you are or what you look like)Well, I decided to give Nitsa's another chance earlier this year because I love shopping at boutique stores that have unique items that are not the same as every other store and that everyone doesn't have already. I walked in and was greeted by a young, bubbly personality and I thought... Ok, this is a place I feel comfortable and I can shop here now. What a huge difference and great improvement! I did find some cute and age appropriate pieces in the store that I would actually wear, but there is still an older generation feeling to some of the clothing lines. I have been back to the store a handful of times now and love going in to see what's new. I just wish I could leave the store with so much more in my hands.So Yes the vibe when you walk into Nitsa's has changed with some personnel changes, which are awesome and a few younger, but age appropriate clothing lines. But Nitsa's... you could be SO much more.I love these newer changes and wish for Nitsa's to do more in this direction for fashion here in town because there is only one other similar boutique store that I now know of in WS and I still don't want to shop there. I got married in May 2019 in a dress and veil I purchased from Nitsa's and received top notch service from their staff. I live in Charlotte but I felt that my experience there was well worth the drive! I always felt like a VIP when I visited. They do a great job of making the appointments so that there aren't too many people in the salon and you feel like you are the only one there most of the time. Their staff are all very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Chris helped me pick a dress and veil and Kiki did my alterations. Both did an excellent job of listening and determining what I wanted. I also think they have a great selection of dresses and accessories at great prices. Almost every time i visited I ended up shopping their boutique of regular clothes and bought several cute dresses, skirts, blouses and jackets from brands like Draper James and Cupcakes and Cashmere. I will probably go back to shop some more! I highly recommend Nitsa's to anyone looking for a wedding dress in the Carolinas. More...

Nitsa's was the first shop I went to in my wedding dress search - and after 10 minutes there it became clear I didn't need to look anywhere else! Chris and Jackie were so incredibly knowledgeable, kind, fun, professional and honest during the initial dress hunt, and the customer service was impeccable. There was never a request too big, question too silly or detail too small - they made the entire process low-stress while still feeling special. And a million props out to Kiki, their seamstress extraordinaire, who knows a woman's body and the true art of tailored fit. They worked wonders making micro-alterations to my dream gown, that had sadly been discontinued, just to make the slightly snug dress work for my figure. My dress was a sample size and thus several sizes too big, but that proved to be no issue for Kiki who is talented beyond belief. She even preserved the scalloped lace at the bottom of the dress by carefully removing it, hemming the dress to the appropriate (5'0") length, and sewed the lace back on by hand. Absolutely unbelievable. Each trip to the shop for fittings, etc. was as marvelous as the last. So glad I ended up at Nitsa's and get to call myself a Nitsa's bride! More...
