Love the wines, love the food. Being from Pennsylvania, our time here is limited. Went for lunch the other day specifically for scallops but they were SOLD OUT!  Anyway, we had the mushroom focaccia which was superb, baked oysters, good but not outstanding and delicious Wagyu beef, however not the same as the Wagyu beef found in Japan which has much more marbling. Their wines shine. Overall it was a very good lunch but our daughter had been here the week before and said scallops are incredible. Hopefully we get to try again! More...

You must do the Heart Hill tasting when you come here! I did not expect this to be the most romantic and best tour of our trip! You get a ride through the vineyard and production facility like all the other tours, but the best is when they take you up to the heart-shaped hill. When you arrive, there is a private table set up with wine to have your tasting in the forest. It was perfect and so romantic. Our tour guide offered to take a lot of pictures for us, which was really nice because we could remember the tour a lot more.  Also, the restaurant here is so yummy. I would definitely come back here just for the food. Definitely get the burger. One of the best burgers I have had! More...

We had the best Sauvignon Blanc we've had in quite some time. We bought two bottles to take home, & I wish we'd bought more. The Can Franc and Sangiovese are also very nice.We had lunch reservations, but forgot to reserve an outdoor table. Fortunately, one opened up as we finished our tasting. It's a very serene setting, with a view of heart hill, a stand of trees on the shape of ( what else) a heart. We north had the burger and fries. They were cooked perfectly. My review is limited to my lunch experience only. $27.00 for a hamburger Come on man!!! Seriously, the hamburger was good not great. It was accompanied with a small bed of what I best can describe as micro greens-probably from their garden. P.S....Since posting my  review, the owner of Niner Wine has agreed to reduce the price of the hamburger and will talk to chef about improving the side dish which accompanies the hamburger. I've had lunch a number of times at Niner-- never had a complaint about price or quality of food. The fact the owner responded to my Yelp comment demonstrates he really cares about customer satisfaction. I strongly recommend those of us that live in Central Coast visit Niner Estates. I stopped by for a second visit a couple months ago with family that has a membership. I'd remembered that Niner had solid wines and a lovely outdoor seating area. We did a very casual tasting with staff at the main tasting bar. The wines were solid, and we left with a couple bottles to enjoy later. The next day we returned for a winery tour (complimentary to some club members annually). The tour covered sustainability practices at the winery, as well as the vineyards and their history. The tour used a comfortable small bus, even though it was just our party of four, with wine poured throughout. Once to the bottling area, we were allowed to taste wines straight from the vats - it was great! The experience (and the wine obviously!) convinced us to join as members ourselves. Memberships vary, with a couple price points. I can attest that our Onyx membership (6 bottles 3x a year), is usually $250-300.If you're in need of a meal to accompany your wine, the restaurant was also fantastic! We purchased brunch and everything was incredible. We were so happy to find somewhere that checks the box on wine and food, and we certainly look forward to many more visits! More...

Updating my review... came back in to do a wine tour and it happen to be the owner of the vineyard doing the tour. As I said before, everyone was nice and it remained the same this time around when we visited. The owner is very down to earth and laid back. He took us on a four wheel up behind the heart on the hill to show us the vineyards to start the tour off. It was pretty cool to learn the process behind making wine and just how much work and precision goes into it. He explained details about the vines and what to look for in regards to a good vine vs a bad vine. We then went  to see how the wine was processed. We also got to try some wines from various areas within the regions and some that still had to sit a little longer. It was really cool to taste just how different some wines are when the soil was only a couple miles away from each other. After the tour we stuck around to have some wine & a charcuterie plate and everyone was still so nice. This is such a great place and after this wine tour I really found some wines I actually ended up liking such as the Grenache Blanc, Merlot, & Syrah Paso Robles. Take the time to check this place out if you're around! More...

We had lunch at the Niner restaurant and it was beyond incredible! For starters, we had a full burrata served with accompaniments of prosciutto relish, roasted red peppers, and lemony olive oil.  This was served with a beautiful crusty bread. For entrées, husband had pork belly that was braised and then deep-fried, over some greens with kale chips and Zinfandel sauce.  I chose the parsnip soup which was more of a purée it was so thick. It was topped with two perfectly grilled scallops which I cut up into the soup and it became a yummy chowder. We shared a flight of red wines, of which one was corked and the waiter quickly replaced with a fresh pour.  Husband also had a full glass of the current release cab and it was great.  Our table by the window gave us a beautiful view of the vineyards and beyond.
