Michele is an awesome photographer! She helped me out with a proposal shoot and was able to be inconspicuous while snapping shots of my proposal. She was very responsive upon initial contact and was able to meet up with me on short notice. After the photos were taken she was able to get them edited and uploaded for us to view in a very reasonable time. I loved working with Michele!!! She's just AWESOME!! When I first met her, I like her down to earth/easy going personality. Her photo sessions are the same!! She treats you like family, listens to your photo ideas and also gives you her ideas to give you an overall quality photo session with beautiful pictures. She was our photographer for our maternity, newborn, and also for our upcoming engagement pictures and wedding. Within a week of our photo sessions, she had the images proofed and ready for us. I sought out Michele to take our first family portraits during our Spring Break trip and we were so pleased with how smoothly the session ran. Our photos turned out beautifully! When we arrived, my baby leapt into Michele's arms, and that was a sign of how well it would all go! Michele was kind and has a great eye, easily helping us get into poses when needed and capturing candid moments throughout the hour. I am so glad we chose Nikkels Photography. I cannot say enough great things about Michele! She and her husband, Andrew, did an INCREDIBLE job with our wedding photos (and she did our engagement shoot a year before our wedding). She was excellent with communication from the moment we approached her last spring. She checked in with our during the year and even sent us gifts in the mail!! She got our wedding photos back to us within two weeks of our wedding--which is insane, as we weren't expecting them for a few months! She went above and beyond any other vendor we had for our wedding. I HIGHLY recommend her. We hope to continue with anniversary (and someday pregnancy/baby) shoots in the future! :) More...

Nikkels Photography and Michele are amazing! From start to finish, my experience working with her for my wedding was incredible. She was helpful throughout all the planning, even with non photography related things like the reception timeline and other vendors. She mailed us sweet care packages along the way, which was a nice touch.

The day of our wedding she was awesome! Went above and beyond...offering to help my bridesmaids and even bustling my dress a couple times. She is so friendly and easy to work with, my whole family loved her.

We just got all our wedding photos back 10 WEEKS EARLY and are in love with them!

Michele did an excellent job taking our family photos. She suggested a beautiful spot in Los Osos after I told her the type of backdrop I was after. While my two-year-old was not on his best behavior ;). .... Michelle did an incredible job engaging him and making it a fun and comfortable experience for everybody. We hired Michele to capture some family photos as a birthday present for my husband's parents (their birthdays are only days apart). We live in Canada and were only visiting our family on the central coast for a week. Michele was really accommodating and suggested the perfect spot for our shoot and the perfect time of day that really captured the light. She was fabulous with my two young sons and managed to get some amazing shots of them even though they were quite rambunctious and silly. We love ALL the photos. Michele was amazing! I found her online and, since I live in Colorado, was a little nervous but moments into our first conversation, I was blown away by how engaging and interested she was in our trip and vow renewal. She worked to get to know me, my family, the road trip we would be taking, what I wanted from our photos, etc. She even offered to introduce me to any other area vendors I might need. Michele provided suggestions of other ideas for our vow renewal, as well. It's clear so quickly how passionate she is about what she does and the clients she works with.

She was prompt and thorough and followed-up with everything she promised, including reaching out the week prior to our visit. On the day of, she had already scouted out locations for our photos. She was engaging and quick - helping keep our two 10-year olds smiling and laughing. She took a variety of shots - up-close and from a distance, using the beautiful scenery, romantic poses, as well as incorporation of our group.

She was up for anything and quick with a suggestion. Within a matter of days, I had the full gallery to review and download! I highly recommend Michele - her work is beautiful and she will put your group at ease throughout the day! More...
