Nigella SF

Nigella recently prepared three beautiful arrangements for a memorial service at a large church in San Francisco.  I found them on Yelp as we don't live locally and they certainly lived up to their great reviews.  The arrangements were absolutely lovely and appropriate in scale and design for a very large church.  The staff were pleasant and called me back very quickly with a quote.  The flowers were already placed in the church when we arrived.  Highly recommend! Rubie designed the flowers for my daughter's wedding and everything was spectacular! The choice of flowers were so beautiful and unique. We had bouquets and boutonnières for the bridal party, flower wands for the flower girls, table arrangements , flowers for the moms , dads and grandmothers, and flower crowns ! We also had a fabulous arch with arrangements that spilled down the sides and on to the ground setting a beautiful stage for the ceremony ( and photos! ) we couldn't be more pleased ! I LOVE this florist! I work in LA, but we have an office location at 1 Market Street in SF and I exclusively use Nigella for all my floral gifts to colleagues and friends in this office. A few reasons why:1. Delivery is FREE to people at 1 Market street (saves at least $15+ delivery fee that most florists charge in the area).2. The website is easy to navigate.3. The flowers are BEAUTIFUL! Arrangements are modern and they have such an amazing variety of unique flowers and arrangements. Best of all, the arrangements look VERY similar to the photos on their website. I can't tell you how many times I've ordered an arrangement at other florists, and when the recipient sends me a pic of what they receive to say thank you, how VERY different (and usually worse) they look from the online photos. Integrity is high here. 4. The prices are very reasonable compared to other florists for the quality you receive. I have been used to paying upwards of $75 for a small arrangement (+delivery fee) at other places (which is super steep) for an inferior product. Thank you Nigella for keeping your prices reasonable while keeping quality high.5. In the many orders I have made, they have always been able to accommodate the time delivery requests (i.e. early in the morning, or before 3pm). The arrangements for our wedding provided by Nigella were fantastic! So many of our guests complimented how unique and beautiful the floral work was. Did somebody say destination wedding? These guys are an absolute dream team. They handled all of my flower needs for my wedding in New Orleans. Rubie was amazing and worked with me one on one to make my vision a reality. She even took me on a personal shopping trip with her to the market to literally handpick the flowers of my dreams. But the service didn't stop there! They went above and beyond to then create custom mockups to make sure no stem was out of place for the big day! Mac, the lead designer at Nigella SF was there to ensure each bloom was ready for its close up, and each design would of course be a show stopper. JR was there as well throughout the entire process, always on hand for any logistical, or design questions that popped into my head! Destination wedding or not, look no further! This is my new go-to florist for three reasons: freshness, price, and taste level / design. I picked up a $45 Valentine's bouquet from Nigella and not only was the design amazing, but we were able to keep some of the flowers and foliage around for over three weeks. So I came right back for my wife's birthday, spent the same amount and they gathered a perfect bouquet again, this time on the spot. The types of flowers and foliage Nigella buys and has ready at the shop is far more interesting and beautiful than any other florist I've seen in the area or online. It's really not even expensive compared to other florists. It's just better. I feel like maybe they're just smarter about ratios in their bouquets and how they source things? Not sure how they do it. Nigella did an amazing job with my wedding bouquet and my husband's boutonniere! I sent Rubie an inspiration photo to give her a general idea of a color palate and feel, and she designed gorgeous arrangements that really popped against the rainy SF sky in our photos. Had a great experience with Nigella. I follow their Instagram account based on other stuff I follow and loved what I was seeing so I sent flowers to a friend for her birthday. Rang Nigella in the morning hoping for an afternoon delivery and was all set in 10-15 mins. I asked for something I saw online with a little variation and that was not an issue. Nigella SF did an amazing job on my client's wedding flowers. We were planning from across the country and they were so helpful and patient with us to make my client's vision come to life. Nigella SF was extremely helpful and quick to respond to all my questions before I placed my order. We wanted a delivery outside of their normal hours and they worked hard to accommodate us! The flowers looked nice but it looked like a couple of the vases were chipped at the top unfortunately. I think it was chipped during the delivery On a separate occasion, I was gifted succulents and those looked perfect! Rubie and JR did an amazing job on my wedding flowers and I cannot be happier that I chose them for the big day. Throughout the entire process, they were professional, detailed, and an overall joy to work with. I was very particular about the colors schematics and Rubie worked with me to create a mock-up of my bouquet prior to the day based on my inspiration photos. I had some last minute requests and they were very accommodating even though I'm sure they had a busy schedule. Nothing but good things to say about this place.I wanted to anonymously send flowers to someone at work and called Nigella three times beforehand to ask about delivery estimates, and specifics of the online form among other things. The person who answered was very patient, and helpful-- but informed me it was too late in the day for the flowers to arrive on time. I was disappointed, but there was nothing else to be done except wait for it to be delivered on the following day. About an hour later I got a call from the same person I'd been speaking with, and it turns out the flowers will make it before the end of day after all. Not sure what changed since last we spoke, but I could tell from his tone of voice that significant effort was definitely put forth to make it happen.All in all, a great experience. I absolutely love this store. I started by purchasing a single succulent for my desk.After 6 months when I accidentally overwatered and killed my poor plant I brought the empty container back and they replaced the plant for only $6 planting it for me and everything. I also received the most beautiful terrarium from Nigella as a gift. It looks amazing and I couldn't be happier. Everyone walking past my office has complimented it. I was so impressed and pleased with the flower arrangement that Rubie (one of the owners) made for our teacher going out on her maternity leave. She asked me to look at the website to see photos of arrangements they could do and pick a few favorites. I told her the teacher's favorite color was blue and, based on my picks from the website, she custom made a beautiful arrangement with blue tulips. All the flowers looked perfectly fresh and in great condition. This was not simply a floral arrangement but a wonderful floral design. I have nothing buy amazing things to say about Nigella. They sourced astoundingly beautiful, (off-season!) red peonies for my winter wedding bouquet this past November. AND they did an incredible job with the bouquet despite my having to arrange everything via email from Los Angeles. The bouquet design was absolutely breathtaking!!!! I couldn't stop staring at it then entire time I had it. Seriously, it was one of my favorite things/accessories about my destination micro-wedding in SF. If I lived in the Bay area I would order flowers from them ALL the time - And make sure to send my husband to them! ;)The team at Nigella are lovely to deal with and create beautiful floral art.Please give them your business so they expand wildly and can open a shop in Los Angeles!!! :) More...

Nigella has been delivering exquisite, stunning bouquets to 100 Montgomery Street for quite some time. The arrangements are gorgeous, one of a kind, with unique flowers. You can really see the artists' creativity. I had been wanting to know who is behind these weekly masterpieces, and finally ran into the delivery guy, who told me that Nigella has been creating these.
