This gal has talent for taking pictures that is off the charts! We hired Nicole to take some family photos recently. Last night we got the pictures back and are pleased as punch. Nicole has a knack for capturing color and caught such sweet moments in time for us that we can look back on for years to come. Â I was open with her that we didnt know how to pose, needed a lot of direction etc, and she made us feel comfortable. We all laughed and had fun throughout the session. Â Additionally, she is easy to communicate with via text and email- prompt with all communications. Pricing is fair, and again, the quality of the job...sooooo good. Nicole was absolutely AMAZING to work with. Not only did she take incredible photos, but she was intentional with us to make sure she was capturing everything we wanted. Sometimes it can be uncomfortable taking photos, but she made everything feel so natural, which made for the best pictures! She was also great at communicating, which was important to us since we had a two-year engagement and lived in another state! Â She didn't hesitate at jumping for an adventurous off-roading adventure for a 2-day engagement shoot in Big Bear with amazing pictures in two drastically different settings. Nicole is a very talented photographer and very passionate with her work. If quality is what you want, have no doubt that's what you'll get. But what i found even more important was how she works with you before and during the photo shoots. Its unnatural for most people to have cameras in your face and to be in certain poses, but Nicole gets to know you before the event and therefore knows exactly what to to say to put you at ease and get the shot that shes going for, making it look natural. Thanks you Nicole for working with us and making it so easy. PS I'm horrible at reviews and never do them. I can't even begin to express how happy I am that we were able to have Nicole photograph our wedding. I guess I should just start from the beginning because everything was so amazing. We hired her in January as we began planning our wedding. She took our engagement photos and they came out perfect. She really helped us then to kind of explore and figure out how we wanted our wedding to look and feel. As the day got closer, she was exceptionally responsive and took a lot of stress off of me by going to the venue and getting a feel for the place before the day even happened. I didn't ask her to do that, but the fact that she consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was ready is a true testament to her character as a professional. On the day of she was very calming and definitely helped me to relax. Her creative vision was well beyond anything that i could have imagined on my own, and she captured every moment perfectly. She did an incredible job of really putting how our wedding felt into pictures, and that is amazing. Where do I begin? Nicole, far exceeded our expectations. Best way I can articulate how amazing our experience was, would be to break it down like this:
Before the wedding:
Nicole responded promptly when contacted her to consider being our photographer.
She understood that we had a budget and worked with us, to make our experience as stress free as possible.
For months leading up to our wedding, Nicole stayed in contact with us and addressed any concerns or ideas we had- making us more and more excited and at ease as our wedding day approached.
She is so ORGANIZED. She had us fill out a detailed survey explaining who our family members were, what our vision was, what our ideal time line would be that day. With that information she made an itinerary for us, that helped exponentially with our day of planning.
Day Of Wedding:
Nicole was early! When she arrived she took it upon herself to explore the venue and using her creative vision and our's, she came up with some STUNNING shots, that we didn't even think of.
She was directive, fast (it was 101 degrees that day), made every parent, grandparent, child, and wedding party member feel so comfortable and at ease. Nicole fit in like family!
She was so elegant and smooth- I hardly noticed her at times! She captured so many beautiful candid moments, because she inserted herself into the wedding, instead of standing in the background.
After the wedding:
Within 48 hours we saw a sneak peak of our wedding photos and we were blown away!
Nicole promised the rest our photos in a certain time frame and she delivered right on time! With digital downloads, we had all our photos immediately! She also sent us a USB drive in a beautiful wooden box with our favorite photo imprinted on the top. We couldn't believe how much Nicole went above and beyond.
The quality of editing is fantastic and even turning the non photogenic (me, and I'm serious) into "models" ;)

Nicole was absolutely WONDERFUL through the whole process of wedding photographer things.
From the beginning she was extremely responsive and professional, always getting back to us within a matter of a day (or sometimes hours.
it was crazy).
She generously went out of her way to meet up with us in a location that was convenient for us, even before we had signed a contract with her. When we did meet up with her, she was very professional. She had many samples of her work and spoke with us at length about things we liked (and didn't like) in wedding photographs. She was very enthusiastic about looking at examples from other photographers wedding shoots to help her to get an idea of exactly what sort of "feel" we gravitated towards for our own wedding photographs. She was also very receptive to any thoughts we had, and made it clear to us throughout the process that our satisfaction with the photography was her highest priority.
The photographs turned out beautifully. It's clear that she didn't just *LOOK* attentive during our meetings, but that she was taking everything we said about what we wanted from our wedding photographs very much to heart. They turned out perfectly! Just what I had imagined.
The printed album that she put together for us looks great so far! (We're still in the editing/ reviewing stage, so we have only seen a digital facsimile of it.) I thought she did a wonderful job picking photos that captured the mood and flow of the event in a way that allowed us to remember the feeling of our wedding day just as it was.
TL;DR: Nicole is professional, friendly and accommodating. She places a priority on client satisfaction and clearly enjoys her work. The photographs were beautiful and exactly what we had discussed with her. I feel like she delivered service above and beyond what I expected for what we paid.
