About

I believe that a single portrait has the power to take your breath away, make you laugh with joy, and even at times move you to tears. My style of photography captures those unique moments that tell a real story. At the end of the day life is truly just a collection of these memories.

Q&As

When starting a new project, I might ask for things such as budget, location, time frame of event, number of guests, etc. I would also take the time to get to know my client, I might ask about things they enjoy, just to get a better feel for who they are. Bringing out a client's personality is an important factor in my work. Building relationships that will last a lifetime, as opposed to just one, singular event is a important to me and I will always strive to create a comfortable environment when I'm shooting.

I honestly don't even consider photography a job. Yeah, it pays the bills and all but it really is more than just a "job." As corny as this may sound, photography actually is my passion. It's what I do best; it's my stress reliever yet can cause the most stressful days, it's a creative release yet can put me in a rut for weeks, it will always be more than just a job. I love how with photography, you're capable of literally freezing time. You have the power to capture so many moments people miss on a day-to-day basis. Being a photographer truly is an honor. Having the opportunity to photograph someone's wedding, one of the most important days in a person's life? Are you kidding me? Who wouldn't love that? Yes it is stressful, yes it can be frustrating, yes sometimes I want to throw my camera against a brick wall, but never in a million years would I ever wish to be anything other than a photographer. I love this thing I call a "job."

After spending my Junior and Senior year of high school photographing students and school events almost daily for my yearbook class, I realized that photography was it. Its what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. While still in high school, I decided to start offering photography services for graduation portraits, prom photos, and sports photos. Being from a small town helped with business and after a few months of working, I decided to start doing weddings, maternity shoots, engagements, newborns, etc. and things began to take off, which is where we are today!

The special relationship I develop with each and every one of my clients, in addition to the wide range of services I offer, is what sets me apart from other photographers.
