I hired Nick to sort out the sprinkler system for my home. As a bit of back story, my home was built in the mid-1980's. The sprinkler system that came with the house dates back to then. Over the years, the original owners had it Gerry-rigged multiple times until it was a complete mess and not at all doing what it was supposed to do.When Nick first came, he spent a great deal of time trying to figure out how the original sprinkler system worked and what was operational and what was not. Based on this, he came up with a very detailed plan and itemized every single thing he would have to do. Based on that, he gave me a good price for the work. Most other guys who came just gave it a cursory glance and gave a wild random figure to do the work.Because of the time Nick spent diagnosing my issues and coming up with a plan to fix it (along with the awesome price), I went ahead and hired him.He did everything that he said he was going to do. He did a fabulous job and got the sprinkler system working again. This however brought to light even more issues with the original sprinkler heads which required extensive adjustments and repairs. As this was all extra work beyond the scope Nick originally was able to see, he came up with another itemized plan to fix each and every issue. Again, the price was reasonable and in accordance with his original itemized estimate. I authorized the work again.Now everything is working perfectly. I really like that he is very transparent with his pricing and that he is very knowledgeable about what he does.I have since hired him to do other projects at my home. And he has done a fantastic job with those as well.I highly recommend you hire him. More...
