I have had chronic back pain for over a decade. Everything I have tried injures me and I end up back where I started. Cara broke that cycle. Cara clearly loves what she does and always comes prepared. No matter how bad my back is, she finds a way to adjust the program so I can make progress. Results matter. In training, results matter a lot. Cara Nguyen helped me get real results, for the first time in my 30-year-long war with obesity. Like many of us with weight or metabolism issues, it's been a lifetime battle: I've been thin (losing 120 lbs in my youth) and I've been very obese (topping out at 360 lbs). A comprehensive list of things I have tried would go for literal pages: diet, exercise, nutritional supplements, drugs-- in every variation and combination you can imagine.

Cara got me results (down almost 30 lbs, this morning) with a reasonable, healthy approach to diet and exercise. I appreciated her gentle approach: she was never heavyhanded when checking in on me, nor did she shame me for a dietary slip up. Her exercise regimen has been very approachable, which is saying something after a decade inactive at a desk.

A really sweet and caring professional that will figure out a personalized diet and exercise program that works for you-- even if you've done it all before and not had the success you wanted. This could be your time.

I've been working with Cara for a year. I have hired coaches in the past, and I was drawn to Cara for her compassion and understanding of what I was looking for. I initially thought I was looking for a trainer short term, because I had some goals in my body composition I wanted to change, but with Cara's mentorship and knowledge she has helped coach me to understanding how being active is more than just goal driven. It's a lifestyle change.

I just turned 40 and my goals with my fitness has changed over the past year as I want to just be able to chase after my kids and stay in shape to keep up with them. I am a busy professional working a full time job and Cara taught me manageable ways to implement exercise into my lifestyle and stay in shape for my family.

She is great at not only fitness, but nutrition and mindset coaching. I trust her guidance completely when it comes to my health now that we have been working together for so long.

You won't go wrong choosing Cara as a coach. If you need someone who is able to meet you wherever you are in your fitness journey, beginner or advanced, she is a fantastic coach.

My name is Rhonda. I have been a barber for 37 years. I am 56 years old. I reached out to Cara Nguyen about three months ago friend of mine referred me to her as a personal trainer, after my introduction with Cara I felt confident that she had my best interest at hand. I’m not your average every day workout person. I have a very difficult schedule for work leaving me with two solid days off which are not back to back. Cara was able to figure out a workout program for me. My purpose for starting the work out we’re centered around health and strength also with me having to lose weight, Cara was able to target my areas of concern and just a matter of days she figured out a workout program. She has provided so many good pointers both in life as a whole, as well as health related work out, this young lady also has provided some mental stability for myself always uplifting me positive motivations as sometimes my personal life can get pretty challenging. I have been training w cara for almost 7 months and it has been one of the most rewarding things since! I decided to make the commitment of getting a trainer because i was starting to feel like i wasn’t seeing any progress after over a year of trying to gain weight because I just didn’t know where to start or what i needed to change. from the beginning cara was super helpful and knowledgeable about how to get me started to help me reach my goals , she taught me how to track my macros , how to stay consistent , how to listen to my body etc & while bulking I struggled tremendously with increasing my food intake but after helping me break down the mental block that was making me feel guilty for eating more, I was really able to push myself more physically. after a few short months i was already much stronger physically and mentally. cara kept me motivated and held me accountable when I wasn’t reaching my goals, i have learned so much throughout this process and continue to grow in more ways than one. i strongly recommend to anyone who’s looking to make big changes to their lives ! Cara has been such a great trainer and mentor to me. When I came to her, I was at a low point in my weight loss (and gain) journey. She recognized the strength I had even at that time and helped pull me up to where I am today. She has adjusted my plans and worked with me even when I was stubborn and hard to work with.

She pushes me and challenges me, but this is how she shows me that she believes I can do it. Her belief in me inspired me to believe in myself again.

Today I am proud to say I’m 23 pounds down from where I was in January. Progress!! And it’s only getting better from here. I have Cara to thank for getting me on a path to long term success.

I decided to work with Cara to add some variety and spice to my training plan. After years of standard bodybuilding programming, constantly cutting, too much cardio, no rest days, and a tummy tuck I felt stuck getting myself back on track. None of the things I had formerly done was helping me drop weight or build strength.
Cara assisted me with building that mind/muscle connection, helping me to relearn to brace my core, form, and encouraged me to push through my PR’s. I was able to hit a new PR (150x8), which I haven’t seen since 2021. Cara guided me to become fearless with increasing my calories and encouraged me to build a relationship with carbs. Lastly, Cara added some spicy METCON workouts into my plan, which helped push me physically to new heights!

I severely sprained my ankle while playing tennis and for the past year kept aggravating it trying to recover too quickly. After 3 months with Cara I can confidently say that I feel a measurable difference better, not only in recovery, but overall strength! On top of that, Cara is very knowledgeable about nutrition and has helped me feel healthier than I've ever been with specific recommendations and weekly checkups! Cara is articulate and responsive in every session and I can't imagine a more tailored experience than the one she provided me. I could not recommend her enough. More...

Cara has been so patient and kind as I've begun my fitness journey. She is a natural teacher and pushes me to be the healthiest version of myself. . I have an eating disorder history but never feel triggered working with her. I'm also very uncoordinated and she's quite sensitive/ nonjudgmental about it!

For a long time I’ve struggled with motivation to regularly work out, as well as doing so for the right reasons (strength and health). Cara has helped me achieve both of these goals.

I struggle with visual/spatial memory and coordination, and dhe breaks down exercises in an accessible way and has a textbook knowledge of workouts and muscles in the body while also being able to easily pivot and be creative as needed. Cara will pushe just the right amount. Working with her has drastically changed my life for the better. I can't wait to continue working with her, get stronger, and set myself up for both short and long-term health.

I provide online coaching with packages that can include workout programming, meal planning & education.

I sanitize and clean my space regularly for any of my in person clients. I don’t require a mask, but out of courtesy of others if a client has been exposed to Covid then I ask them to stay home.
