The past weekend I used Next Moving for a 2nd time and I am very pleased again with their service. I had a different 3-man team lead by Alex. My move included 2 pickup locations and 1 delivery destination. The guys were fast, efficient and completed my move in 3 hrs. Secured packing; nothing damaged or broken. My apt toilet flooded and I needed to move out of my apt fast. I sent out a quote and they responded the say day and had openings the same weekend Sunday for a smaller job. I live in a 1 bd 1 bath and was transferring to another unit a large building next door. They recommended 3 guys. 2 to package everything and 1 to coordinate and move as well. They were super fast and completed moving everything shy of 3 hours. They're super nice, around late 20s or early 30s. Healthy, young, fast, and strong. Downsides- They are a bit on the more expensive side since they charge a destination fee. And they don't take venmo or zelle- just straight cash or credit.But they got everything done the time they estimated. Plus they were really careful with any glass, mirrors, monitors and TVs I had. So I think it's worth it. They have large boxes and dollys they place everything in first. So they're method of moving things is more efficient than I've seen other movers do.Would recommend! We had 3 movers come in, all very professional and efficient. They wrapped the items we asked them to and handled everything with care. They also found solutions for transferring bulky items that didn't fit in our apartment elevator. Overall, very pleased with our experience. I chose Next Moving because, to be completely honest, I had seen their trucks and that of another company handle moving to my previous apartment quite often. When it was finally my time to move I did submit my RFP through Yelp just to gather the information and of course look at options. I selected Next. They were very responsive. Now let's get to the meat of this: the move was fine. We were able to wrap it up just shy of 3 hours for my in town move, note I was moving from a studio. I'm only giving 4 stars because the window of arrival changed from the early morning to the mid afternoon and I had made plans with the early morning timeframe in mind. Long story short, excellent service!From the beginning, it was very easy to get quotes for service, replies were very quick, emails were responded to in less than 24 hours (even faster most of the time). I was always able to speak with an actual person instead of an automated voicemail. On moving day, the movers showed up exactly when they said they would. They did not need much direction and went straight to work. They were efficient and professional. They did an excellent job wrapping furniture for the move. They communicated very well and they were on time ( the driver called to give me a more accurate estimate on the day of move). They moved my peloton as well. Picked Next Moving because of their association with the BBB. They packed my things VERY safely and my movers were gentle with my belongings and very nice guys. I asked for two movers and a smaller moving truck and they accommodated my requests nicely. I also requested a last minute move to their storage facility and they were able to take me with a little less than a days advance notice so they work fast.Some things to note: I should have researched but their storage facility is I believe in the San Fernando valley and they charge for commute times so keep that in mind if you're using their storage option as well. It can save you an extra $100-$200 if you keep it in consideration.When you call them you usually just leave a message on their answering machine and someone will call you back rather than a person picking up each time you call. Keep their number as a contact on your phone so you know when they call you back. Emails are also a much faster way of communicating with the team from my experience so use that as your main means of communication instead.I also found that exchanging info about emails and addresses can be harder on and over the phone. Just be extra clear and spell out the addresses and have them read it back to you letter by letter just to be extra careful that names, emails and addresses are spelled 100% correctly.Overall it was a little pricey but I have 100% confidence that my belongings are safe and moved well, which is what I was looking for and paid for in the first place. Bite the bullet on the price and take ease knowing your things are safe in their hands. I had a wonderful experience with Next moving and will use them again in the future for peace of mind.
