We had DJ Ron for our small wedding on Maui. We only had about 20ish people and some of them I knew wouldn't want to dance, like my parents. He got everyone, EVEN MY PARENTS, to dance! He played many of the songs I wanted knew when he had to mix in his own songs to get the party started and keep it rolling. He also brought a really amazing wedding picture booth vendor with him. We had such a great time dancing and listening to music that I was sad when it was time for our last dance--since it meant it was time to say goodbye to our DJ! Saw n met joe/jay (nle808) thru a friend's wedding for the first time n was impressed with their performance and how they handled the party. Looked at reviews and search more about them n got even more impressed. Booked for my son's 1st birthday and they definitely delivered as what they advertised! Sit back relax and they'll do the work for you! They are flexible with any changes before and during the party. DJ Ron played the dance music after our band played for a Christmas party at the Sheraton in Lahaina. He did an awesome job of feeling out the crowd and picking just the right music to get everyone on the dance floor. We booked the photo booth for our annual Christmas party, and it was so much fun!! There were so many options to choose from: standard photo booth pics with grand, snapchat style filters, GIFs and more - easy to use, high quality and no wait time for printing - sent straight to our phones for easy posting and sharing. Joe & Jay did an awesome job, definitely took our wedding to the next level! :) We've been to other weddings where NLE was the entertainment and we were already impressed before booking them. It was very easy to communicate with Joe thru text or phone calls. It made it more personal texting or talking with him directly. When we first talked with Joe, we had no idea what we wanted but Joe was able to give us ideas on what we should decide on and expect. Through more texts and calls, we decided on what we wanted or had ideas on what we wanted. We appreciated meeting with Joe to discuss our vision and the details of their services. He took time to get to know us and thought of ways to tie it in to our program which we loved.We booked their signature package which included the DJ & MC services, venue up-lighting in wedding colors, dancing in the clouds and a monogram. Joe is fantastic. He got to know us and our bridal party and was able to create an amazing and unique experience for us. He took our creative touches and turned them into the highlights of our evening . Our friends and family had a great time. It was nice to see DJ Ron 808 at a recent OYE (Official Yelp Event) back in January 2018 at the Lahaina Loft. We hired him prior for a party we had at our home when we were rockstars. Just like at our private event, his set up at the OYE was very professional, with a chic-looking, stretchy material that hid the equipment legs & cords. Little touches like that make a huge difference! But, that's just the beginning of it. His equipment is top-of-the-line with quality sound and lighting. His playlist is endless and he'll spin whatever genre your heart desires, with smooth blends in between tracks. Ron is very friendly, down-to-earth and professional. Highly recommended! More...

Whether you are early for a ferry ride to Lānaʻi, or with the Pacific Whale Foundation, it's worth a stop to look at a building that has existed in some form since 1859. My husband and I have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience working with DJRon for our wedding. He was truly a highlight from our special day. DJRon is timely, respectful, professional, and absolutely hands down the most talented DJ in Hawaii. From the moment the first song began, our guests did not stop dancing. DJ Ron was such a great find, thanks to our wonderful coordinator Fay of Aloha Maui Weddings. He met with us twice before the wedding to review songs/scheduling, and even has the skill/knowledge to design awesome custom mash-ups! We had one in particular I remember of "We Found Love" / "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" that was clever and perfectly incorporated.He got all of the song choices as we requested including our little special first dance set up. Specifically, we wanted an intermittent slideshow playing in the background as we danced to our song. He helped us swing the set up to have a screen in the back, and the projector showing it smoothly. As a note to future brides, a perfect way to take some of the edge off of solo slow dancing for 4.5 minutes in front of your friends/family!Once the dance party was going, it didn't stop! He's got a great sense for the tempo and feel of the celebrants that you can tell comes from attention and experience. Thanks Ron! More...

DJRon came highly recommended by our photographer who has worked with many DJ' s in Maui before. I was sold when she told me he could get the old grandmas out of the seats to dance the night away. Did he ever deliver! He was incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating since we were planning our wedding all the way from Texas. He even followed up after the wedding to make sure everything went well. You can't beat that. Highly recommend for great music to dance the night away! More...
