Newk’s is a relatively new restaurant to San Angelo. It’s a great place to get a salad, sandwich, soup and pizza. They are open today serving great food. I’m am practicing social distancing. Had a great meal tonight at Newk’s in Spanish Fort, AL. We always enjoy eating at Newk’s and like the variety of the menu items. My one complaint is the plastic cups used at the restaurant. I feel like we need to be reducing our use of single use plastics. I usually take the cups home because I hate the idea of throwing them in the trash, but I don’t need a set of 20+ plastic cups in my cupboard. I know they are kind of a signature item but I would like to see the company reconsider the use of the plastic cups in favor of something more environmentally friendly. More...

We visited the Howell Mill location for the first time today & were BLOWN AWAY by the delightful service & variety of delicious food! Perhaps we lucked out with timing (between lunch & dinner ~5pm) but the restaurant was clean & food ready super quick (that mac n cheese is the BOMB). Gregory was fantastic & checked on us regularly throughout our visit. We didn't expect such large portion sizes & wound up with enough left over for another full meal! Newks on Germantown Road catered a luncheon for me last week. Aaron helped me decide what to serve. I cannot praise them enough. Absolutely EVERYTHING they did was perfect. We truly enjoyed our to go meals on Saturday afternoon! My first time and LOVED the Shrimp Promelaude Salad and dressing! 1 son had a pizza . My daughter had a pizza and another son had a sandwich and strawberry cake! All good even though my son ordered me the wrong salad. I asked him for shrimp avocado salad and was looking for my avocados. He did not read my text correctly. So now I have to go back to get it! More...
