New Normal

When I began the course, I had no background knowledge in tooth movement or fixed orthodontics. Now, just 4 months later, I am simply amazed at how much I have learned. There is NO substitute for this kind of experience: learning comprehensive orthodontics through working with real patients. Dr. Binh Tran has a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in orthodontics and is a wonderful teacher. We learned so much about not just orthodontics, but many other areas of dentistry. I recommend this course to anyone interested in building their practice and offering their patients the opportunity to stay with a team they already trust for ortho. More...

My ortho course with Dr. Binh Tran was a wonderful experience and I learned a lot. Dr. Tran is very kind and supportive and I still consult with him about my patients. I have recently had a patient who needed TAD placement on her jaw and Dr. Tran placed 4 TADs on her for free.

The CE put on by the WAGD though it's Mastertrack Program is well worth flying halfway across the country 4 times a year. The facility is one of the jewels in the Academy of General Dentistry and it seems to get better everytime I come back . Thank you for making me a better dentist! More...

Highly recommend Dr. Binh Tran’s ortho course. Hands on every session, not only banding and bracketing, but exposing impacted canines, placing TADs, palatial expanders, and countless options for each situation. Dr. Tran provides amazing feedback with every case we start on our own as well. I started with very little ortho knowledge, and am now excited to offer ortho as an option for patients, and to better diagnose the whole picture. More...

I highly recommend Dr. Tran's 1 year ortho course, well worth the flights from Alaska. Having taken the 6 Month Smiles Courses (1&2), and Invisalign course, I was still lacking confidence in starting and especially finishing cases. Dr. Tran is an incredible resource and very open to sharing his knowledge. The hands on experience was great and I especially enjoyed reviewing everyone's cases from their offices, great way to learn. More...

A colleague convinced me to sign up for the Mastertrack sessions and I have thoroughly enjoyed quality CE, easily provided four times a year, with a great group of returning doctors. The camaraderie and fellowship among the doctors has really helped with increased learning and lots of questions for the instructors. Val and Dr. Heyamoto have been fabulous at helping me earn my FAGD and really take into consideration what kind of classes their doctors want to see and not just a spitting out of the same classes over and over. As the course comes to an end, I have nothing but good things to say about it. This course not only shapes you towards fixing smiles, it also gives you a skill to do other things that you wish you could do with certain cases like molar uprighting or intrusion. One day a month is very doable. You get hands on patient experience where you see the teeth moving. Dr Tran not only help you start your cases during class, he is available even years after you’re done with the class and he helps you with all your dental questions be it from anything other than ortho. And you connect with some amazing people while you’re learning. Definitely recommend this class. More...
