Rita is the real deal! And I have been to more than a few therapist in the past 15 years - she is compassionate and really cares about your specific situation- I finally got out of a relationship (17 plus yrs) and her support was always with me. I used to be quick to judge when people stayed in bad relationships...unfortunately I get it now- sometimes it's insidious until it's obvious. I have learned along the way that when your partner is vindictive and selfish, as in my case , it's hard to see it at the time . Rita is a compassionate caring person Who takes the time to dive deep into the most pressing issues. She not only hears but she listens. She doesn't judge you, or criticize and that makes it easy to share and discuss even the most personal matters of the heart. Most counselors are there for the money and do the bare minimum, Rita goes beyond the norm. If if wasn't for Rita I am not sure where me and my wife would be at this point and time. Rita is truly incredible and I'm so blessed to have had her recommended to me by a co-worker. I've had therapists in the past, but none of them have come close to measuring up to Rita. She truly cares and listens. She gives a welcome bag at your first session and continues to be giving with books or workbooks/journals that are most helpful to me in my journey. She also gives access to her audible account with over 1,400 books I can access at any time. She helps provide tools and gives homework to help me in my journey and what's most needed for me and my growth. I always get to pick out a rock after each session that has a positive quote or word on it. I feel so grateful for Rita and all she does helping me with current and past life problems while helping me become the best version of myself. Originally we went to Rita because I thought he needed it. (as bad as that sounds, that is how I felt) I went in thinking it wasn't going to work as I have been to counseling in the past. However, after the 1st consultation, I quickly realized she can actually help. Not only him but me. I had so much inside but couldn't put a grip on how I was feeling. Or why I was the way I was as far as in relationships. I realized I needed her too. And the things I thought he could never change, I do realize with her, he can as well. I realized that the things I want to change about myself, I can also change as well. To me, Rita is God sent. I have never had a counselor really get me to see what she has me see. She has me stronger inside, even at times I feel weak. I realize now, that in the past, things would have been different in my marriage, had we had a counselor like Rita. Rita has helped me so much. The first day I walked into her office I was a hot mess. She made me feel safe and comfortable right away. She is so giving and kind you can't help but have some peace when you leave her office.It has been 3 months and she has given me the tools to get through one of the hardest times in my life. I am able to move forward, leave the past behind and live in the present now. Rita is a true miracle worker. I came to her defeated, confused and mis diagnosed. After 2 sessions with Rita I felt like a whole new person, I feel she has been the first person to see through my baggage and straight to my soul. Not only has she helped me but my whole family is benefiting from the tools I'm learning with her. I only wish I would have met her years ago, would have saved myself a lot of pain and suffering. Laura is heart warming counselor she has lot of patience, wonderful good listener, helpful, understanding and gives great advice. She makes me feel comfortable, welcoming, and easy to talk too. She is very respectful, trustworthy and accepts me as I am. Every time I am done with my appointment she gives me homework really helps work on myself. I also feel refreshed and motivated. Rita has transformed my life in more ways than I ever could have imagined. I first starting seeing her for mild anxiety, where she worked with me on tools to reduce my anxiety and to see things in a more positive light. I completely changed after the inner child work that we did, and I have never looked back. She's an absolute blessing and I echo what all of the other 5 star reviewers said, it almost looks fake what they are saying because it is truly amazing what she can do for you, almost to good to be true...but Rita is the realest thing you are going to find! I put the work in, and she has helped me every step of the way and I have hit a place of such inner peace that it is unreal. I still get frustrated at times, but they are rare and I am completely aware of my life and those around me now. I'd say that no matter what her session's cost they would be worth it, if you can take one tip to better your life from her 1.5 hr session that's $200 well spent because the lesson will be multiplied to your entire life, not just the time you are in that room. My fiance and I love Rita and her teachings so much. She has such a welcoming presence and is such a giving, nurturing person. She is one of the few therapists that has taken the time and energy to really get to know us. I love that her fast-paced approach allowed us to work with her for 1.5+ hours during each appointment for the first month. It helped my fiance and I really renew our relationship basically instantly. I truly feel like the tools she has given us will help us today and for a lifetime.
