This is the place you want to come when you want fresh meats. Located in a small side street mall, there is plenty of parking! I've tried the bacon, chicken, several different sausages, and filet of beef. Everything was delicious. I especially love the sausages cooked over the BBQ! Naughty Pig is now top of our list for a great sandwich, although Great Harvest is still a close 2nd.Since I've been hearing from several friends about this place and the bacon in particular, we decided to try lunch hear and get a sandwich that included bacon. My wife and I both got the turkey and bacon on ciabatta roll and it was fantastic! The chipotle aioli has a nice kick, the melty cheese, fresh roll, generous turkey and delicious bacon make for a sandwich that is hard to beat.We will be back soon and next time will get something with Italian meats so we can eventually try everything on the menu.The sausages, steaks, chicken, etc. in the case looked really good, too.Lots of interesting sauces on the shelves, balsamic vinegars, plus fresh produce. I was super impressed with the grass fed filet we had for my birthday celebration.  The meat was oh so tender and delicious. They have a cool selection of fish, chicken, seafood, beef, sausage, pork chops and baby backs. They even had a beautiful tomahawk sitting in the case. I didn't see any rack of lamb, but I ask next time I stop in. I will be returning to try my hand at another one of their delicious selection of meats. Bravo!!! More...

Had a meeting in Temecula today so I asked our boss,  the foodie of the group,  where is the best place for a sandwich.  Oh. My. God. The smoked duck sandwich with jalapenos is heaven. I couldn't decide between that and some other choices,  which I'm sure are equally good. If I had a cold bag, I would have taken some meat too because everything looked delicious. They have cooked sandwiches for lunch served from 11am-5pm. Also, they have fresh meats for sale. By the look of it, the meats are fresh and of excellent quality. If I lived nearby, I would definitely buy the meat here. The sandwiches are delicious and I usually I pick some here before heading to the winery to enjoy it with a glass of wine. Man this place is pricey but it's priced correct for what you are getting. The service is awesome they actually helped me out of a spot I got myself in with a special dinner I was making and the correct meat to use. This is the best butcher, bar none. They go out of their way in every possible way. They have ordered turkeys, ducks, made specialty chicken sausages, steaks and charcuterie trays for me over the years. After a particularly rude incident with another customer involving my blind daughter, an employee came out to ensure she was unaffected by the incident. There is something to be said for the direct consumer to butcher interaction. You can feel so much more comfortable with your purchase and know it's 100% backed by the business owner because if he didn't like the product he wouldn't sell it! This company offers the best, freshest and tastiest proteins in the valley. I say proteins because it's not just red meat here. The tiger prawns and Diver scallops are to die for. They also offer select fresh produce and other meat products such as trimmings, organs and bone stock My first experience was a Wagyu steak I bought with my wife. We took it home and cooked it up and was the best cut of meat we had ever had.Please support this small business the price tag may be higher than your local grocery store but quality well exceeds any big shop at Albertsons or bobs. Stopped by today to check out this spot had heard a lot about it so decided to try it for lunch. It did not disappoint. As soon as you open the door the delicious smoky bbq smell hits  you. We were greeted right away by the staff. They have a huge selection of meats sausage and fish. I ordered the turkey sandwich. The turkey is so tender it comes with applewood bacon a really nice chipotle aïoli on a ciabatta bun. Great portion I could only eat half of my sandwich! I also tried their potato salad. I do not usually order potato salad out as most restaurants I've experienced are not great. This potato salad is the bomb.com. It has crumbled bacon on top and is not overly seasoned or have too much mayo it was awesome. If you are in the area you must check this spot out ! For months I kept on hearing about this place . I decided to finally go one day . I'm a person who likes to step out the box and take risks. Therefore , I decided to order the roasted duck, never had duck before . Wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not  but I'm glad I did , it was good . I love their turkey sandwich also . Love love,love this,place ..quality is incredible. Everyone greets customers by name. I am in this butcher shop at 4x week if not more.  Sandwiches are the bomb. I have tried I believe everything in this store which keeps me going back. Richard, omg... how my little guys likes him so much that he has to stop in to talk with him. This place is legit!  They have meat pinwheels you throw in the oven for 15 minutes and it is amazing flavor in your mouth.  It is not cheap, but no good food is.  I am so happy they opened the location in Old Town Temecula because going to Murrietta was a pain.  I have tried almost everything so far.  Not a fan of the pork pinwheels as we are used to the filet ones which are to die for!  This place is awesome though!
