What a cute hidden gem!! We wondered in here one day and were amazed by the staff, selection, and quality of the food here. They serve breakfast (and dinner) all day, have a whole array of bakery items, a huge tea & smoothie list, along with coffee and Kombucha and grocery goods. They've also got great outdoor seating, a very attentive and helpful staff, and an amazing menu of healthy food choices. I'm stunned to never have noticed this place before. I enjoy this place but just received the rainbow veggie plate and was pretty disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it's delicious, but for some reason it's more than half peppers. I thought it was a fluke last time and tried again, but I was wrong. For the price, I feel like I should be getting mostly veggies. That's what I'm ordering, a veggie plate. I just ordered for the first time from Natural World Market and Fred answered the phone and helped me to get my breakfast order correct via DoorDash. OMG, the Venezuelan Breakfast that I ordered was not only a healthy choice but also so flavorful. I also ordered a Herbal Luscious Lavender tea and it was so pleasantly floral and aromatic, soothing and satisfying to my body. Wow, thank you guys for offering authentic “organic and pasture-raised” healthy real food close to my new home in Hermosa Beach. I AM IN LOVE with this place!My FAV is superfood burger! Their vinaigrette dressing is the bomb!Gluten free buns are phenomenal! All of their bakery items are just TOO GOOD!Especially the sugar free ones!Their blended drinks are sugar free and JUST THE WAY I LOVE IT! I LOVE their super-food vegan burger, it is the first one I have ever liked, & I keep going back for more.  Their Cesar salad with chicken is delicious too, one of my favorites.   The outside dining area in the back of the shop is wonderful!  I felt very safe, & we are very spaced out, with fresh breeze coming thru.  It is kept very, very clean & sanitized.  I love it because it is also very peaceful, can  read & eat your meal in peace. This is a great spot for vegan food. We ordered inside and the food was brought out to us. The service is wonderful. Absolutely delicious! I can't believe I haven't written a review for them before since I have eaten here quite a few times. This spot has a delicious homemade bakery section (pre wrapped for COVID) with vegan and gluten free options. My favorites are the vegan banana loaf and vegan coffee cake muffin (unless someone told you, you wouldn't even know they were vegan). I also love to get the vegan empanadas, which are filled with a mix of grilled veggies and quinoa and is delicious. My favorite breakfast from the cafe  is the Plant Based Morning bliss which is a tofu and veggie scramble (it's super cheesy and flavorful) with potatoes and a choice of toast or a pancake, I go for the toast but I have yet to try the pancake (I'm sure it is delicious like the rest of the food). Definitely give this place a visit even if you are not vegan, vegetarian, or a health food fanatic. There is also a cool market in the cafe with a large range of organic products. I am normally not one to leave a review. In this case, I feel that I must. My daughter laughs at me because I haven't stopped talking about this place. Both my kids are healthy eaters and it's difficult to go anywhere to eat where we can all agree. I've been trying to eat more healthy and my daughter has eaten here before and suggested this place. I looked at the menu online and thought the roasted veggie tacos sounded good. Plus, we haven't gone out to eat since March due to the pandemic. We decided to eat here as there's a nice big outdoor patio for eating. I ordered the roasted vegetable tacos that include pinto beans and jasmine rice. Everything tasted soo good. The flavors that they put in makes the most basic, plain, common vegetable, taste so amazing. Everything on the plate, from the pinto beans to the roasted vegetables in the taco, with the blend of flavors and spices, tasted so amazing. There was not one crumb left behind on the plate. Another thing I want to add is that they did a great job adhering to the requirements to keep the customers and themselves safe due these unprecedented circumstances related to COVID 19. It's very clean and if you decide to stay and eat out in the outdoor patio, they wipe down the table and chairs again before you sit. I recently started having digestive issues with meat and animal proteins, I needed a place where I can pick up some vegetarian food when I don' t want to cook, I picked up a Buddha bowl and it was very very good! The menu has plenty of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have a refrigerated section with fresh vegetables, fruits and packaged dips fermented and pickled veggies. I just have to tell you about the most plump and perfect fresh ginger root I've ever seen. They also carry a great selection of artisanal, organic, natural beauty products, and cleaning supplies. Current or not, I didn't think an experience well deserving of a review had an expiration date.This is my experience during my first visit. If I have a chance to pay a second visit --then I would make the necessary changes to follow up on an update (should my experience change to a positive) and will edit my review. It may not be good timing to post this review at your convenience, but while all of us have been affected during this difficult time, your business isn't the only one affected to COVID-19 (not only your business -- but everyone..as well as me). Please do not use COVID-19.It isn't my intention to degrade or diminish your business in any way. I am an honest customer with an honest review just like everyone else. When you found this negative review, you were quick to snap back. My experience was real no matter how long ago it occurred. This community platform is to help others esp vegan customers who might find it useful that I found meat products in my food when specifically mentioned being vegan. I could've gave 1 star but I gave 2 stars for the effort. -1 for the long wait, -1 for the price, and what should've been -10 stars for meat in my VEGAN salad. Luckily there are even 2 stars. You mentioned that it was only the one time it occurred. That one time was the inconsistency in your operation that was caught--that which means it didn't have to occur many times but that one time was the lesson to be learned. You can tell the consistency of a business if it only takes one time (a first time experience) to say it all.Instead you should be thanking me for an unforeseen future event had someone been allergic to meat products. That could've been me or far worse, someone else who would've gone to the hospital and taken it to higher measures. As you stated, I understand that big retailers like Wholefoods (compared to small business owners with small mom and pop shops like yours), have bigger discount on volumes on products distributed to consumers like me. However, I was only saying..that there are other options that provide more affordable prices. Nothing wrong with this statement rather true facts.Quite frankly, I found your private message to be very defensive and not a good look on your end. The tone sounds different than this public one you sent me and only cared about your stars. You waited no time for a response between this message and sent me another the following day. You were also suggesting when I should've posted the review to your discretion, and telling me to have given a fair review. This was a fair review. How can I give a good review on a first experience if I haven't been back a second time to justify it?Your reply speak volumes. It only sounds to me as if I inconvenienced you at this time, frustrated --or yet, rather annoyed you. It seems money is more important to you to keep your business afloat. Without us, how can you? My new favorite spot for groceries and amazing meals! I've tried cashew Alfredo pasta, veggie burger, rainbow plate and Buddha bowl and all were amazing. Their gluten free bread is hands down best I have had. I love the specialty items they have in the grocery section and their bakery sweets! Service is so friendly! I was so excited to find this place and am so close! From breakfast options to lunch / even more "hearty" meals are all available and so fresh. I'm vegan and to me is hard to find a place that is good taste wise / fresh produce / and know how to prepare and just overall soo good. FOOD IS AMAZING, can't wait to order more. Terrible customer service. Lady working the front has no clue how to prioritize. I arrived to pickup an online order at 10:15a that was scheduled to be ready by 10:20a. There was absolutely no one in the cafe. I'm now leaving at 10:47a with a cup of of soup and one chicken dish. My order sat on the counter ready to bagged up as a Postmates driver came in and completely stole her attention from bagging up my food. She proceeded to helping him. How does his order now supersede mine? I was here before him and clearly my order only needed to be bagged up. Nope! She lets my order sit on the counter as she prepares a cappuccino from scratch. Completes this other guys whole order and then when he leaves bags my order up...No apology it took so long. No courtesy for my time wasted. After you lied when I arrived and said it would only be 10 min! If I would have known it was going to going to take that long I would have canceled the order! Don't lie about expected waiting time!
