Gary came to our home to help us with our 5 year old rescue mastiff mix, Valentine. We are expecting a baby in June and we were concerned with some of Valentine’s destructive behavior, his tendency to pull too much on walks, and he shows some possessiveness with some toys/bones. It turns out Valentine needs to be more confident! My husband has never had a dog before Val & very much benefited from Gary’s education on dog psychology. We said goodbye to Gary today feeling we had the tools to help Valentine be the best dog he can be. We’ve been practicing some of what we learned tonight, & after walking Val with Gary today I’m feeling confident I’ll be able to walk him & push a stroller once the baby arrives, which is something I doubted we could do. We were also provided some extremely valuable tips on how to prepare Valentine for the baby coming home. I’ve already recommended Gary to my Dad, & we’d recommend him to anyone who needs some assistance being the best dog owners they can be and getting the best out of their dogs. You all are amazing! In-home training was the best decision I could have made for my dog, Milo. I sincerely appreciate how thorough you were in answering all of my questions. I feel confident I have the knowledge base moving forward to be a better dog mom to my sweet boy. I feel like I have a new dog! In just two hours he learned the "back" command, was more responsive to "sit" and "stay", plus I had some great tips for socialization and leash behavior. Our dog Jax gets so fired up for training he can hardly contain his enthusiasm. The group classes are helping socialize his behaviors around other dogs and Gary always has words of wisdom so we can practice at home. Next step will be some one on one with Gary and Jax in home. It's been a week since we met with Gary and I have seen huge improvements with my pup. The training was mostly for me, as I found out I was not communicating with my dog the way she would understand. I was also not giving her the physical signals she needed to feel comfortable around other dogs. His approach with training is easy to understand and you can tell he truly cares about your pup.

We recently signed up our 3 month old precious pit puppy, Linkin, for Gary's agility and socialization classes and it has been the best time and money well spent! Linkin absolutely loves Gary, Mindy, and all of his play buddies at natural instinct and looks forward to every single weekend as much as we do! These classes completely wear him out at the end of the day and we would highly recommend any of Gary's classes to anybody out there that has a puppy or any age dog to come out and join the fun and play. My dog Nariko and I attended the Agility Class at Natural Instinct Dog Training, and we were both absolutely thrilled.

Trainer Gary Adams took a lot of time to get to know Nariko and his particular quirks (I also booked the in-Home consultation), and within a surprisingly short time period, Nariko was a different dog - in a good way, of course..!! �
Within a day he responded to commands that I had been unsuccessful in teaching him for years..! (Embarrassing, I know... LOL...!!)
The Agility Training was super fun; it is a great activity, and it really intensifies the bond with your dog because you work as a team.
The entire team at Natural Instinct is friendly and professional, and they also took the best pictures of my dog..!

After contacting Gary, he was able to fit me into his schedule within the week! After just 2 hours, our new puppy has a better understanding of simple commands, and my husband and I have a better understanding of how to communicate those to both our pups. With our puppy having bad separation anxiety since bringing him home, I can say that I'm happily typing this while he is napping in his crate like a good boy!!! I know it will not become perfect overnight, but I can already tell that we are on the road to success!!!! Thank you Gary for all the information and patience. We've worked with Gary for awhile. He has been out to our house 3 times for different issues that have arisen witrh our 2 Dobermans. He speaks dog and he speaks human , in terms you can understand. George took Brady our Boxer there this morning. He was just going to check it out. He took Brady through the course and Brady with no training did the ramps and few other of the obstacles. Great first experience with Tucker Puppy. Even though he was a bit hesitant to run the course, he received a lot of encouragement and help from our trainer. We loved Gary and his team. My pittie was having a difficult time, and they took extra care with her to ensure her comfort. During the 6-week session, she made definite improvement -- as did I. Gary never scolded me or talked down to me; he trained me well, explained how she was viewing things or feeling so that I would understand better. Brought me and my girl closer. Gary taught my family and I more in one in-home session than all the dog training classes I’ve attended combined. His love for canines is obvious and he really understands that each dog has their own personality. Our dogs loved him as well and I really can’t recommend his services enough. I have a 1 year old rescue pit named Major who was previously unsocialized and because of that has developed a fear/uncertainty of strangers and even sometimes friends who come over to our home. I contacted Gary from Natural Instinct Dog Training as he was recommended to me by a friend and he really worked to give me and my roommates the confidence to communicate effectively with Major. He never once made me feel inadequate as a dog owner and the way he explained things was easily absorbed. His tips, tricks, and recommendations were extremely helpful, and to my surprise Major responded very well to Gary’s approach. Moving forward, there are definitely things I will have to continue to work on and perfect with Major as far as possession, aggression, as the apply and release of “pressure” but I feel like I now have the ability to socialize him safely and effectively. What a great place! Our little dog Reesie is 5 months old. She seems to really enjoy the group training. Reesie is learning to focus and follow our commands which is great. The socialization with the other dogs is a huge plus. Reesie loves people but seeing her interact with the other dogs in a trustful, respectful and playful manner has been great. We can't wait for the beginner sessions to end so we can sign her up for the next level. Gary and his staff are STARS at what they do.
