What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Empathy is at the core of excellent photographs. I know how uncomfortable and awkward it can be to have someone pointing a huge barrel of a camera at you while telling you to look "natural". My goal is always to make sure my clients feel as comfortable as they would be if they were with their close friends and family. From that state of comfortability flow the most authentic photos.
What do you love most about your job?
I am an extrovert that loves people and new experiences. (I'm a Meyer's Briggs ENFP if you are curious!) Photography is an extension of my ability to connect with people and form genuine relationships. I am thankful for all of the people and couples that I have been able to meet through photography and the unique experiences that we have been able to share.
