I'm sorry this is such a long review. But I just can't say enough about how perfect our day was at The Gish Barn.

Our daughter had her wedding at The Gish Barn on June 10, 2017. We had a wonderful experience with the owner of the property, Denise, and her son in law, Nathan. Both helped so much in the planning process and even the setup and details the day of. Also, to our surprise there are many decorations (i.e. crates, vintage shutters, centerpieces etc.) that you may borrow for your event. And these come with the price of the venue. That was unheard of at any of the other barn venues that we looked at. Honestly, even the chairs and tables at other venues were an additional cost. Not at The Gish Barn. The grounds are kept absolutely beautifully and rustic. Exactly what my daughter envisioned. Also the beautiful indoor lights and signs are perfect and there is no need to worry about a lot of decorations there either.

Nathan had many vendors they had worked with before that we could choose from and use at our event. This helped us tremendously in our search for wedding vendors.

I see some people complaining about how warm it was and how parking was in the grass. I'm really not sure what they expected at a rustic venue in the summer. We had a nice warm day and people were a little too warm sitting in the barn waiting for the Bride and Groom. But Nathan had told us ahead of time that we may need fans. So there were no surprises. We easily remedied the heat by bringing fans. Nathan opened up the barn as much as possible and closed some doors when the sun was beating in. Our guests enjoyed some activities in the lawn, where there was a breeze. Many even sat among the shade trees and mingled there. Everything turned out just fine.

We had many rave reviews from our guests as to how wonderful the venue was. And so easy to find.

We would recommend the Gish Barn to anyone who wants to have a gorgeous, rustic outdoor wedding and barn reception. Just don't expect the weather to cooperate exactly the way you want. Be prepared for anything. More...

I couldn't have been more happy with choosing this venue for my wedding. Both the barn and the surroundings are gorgeous, and Denise was such a great help to us throughout our planning process. Our ceremony was outdoors, and we held the reception in the beautifully restored barn with 160 guests. They continually commented on how wonderful everything was. My new husband and I were so happy that we were able to have our ceremony and reception here, and we can't thank Denise and her husband enough for helping to make the most important day of our lives such a great success. I love love loved this venue!!! I went to my best friends wedding here and fell in love with this place!! My friends wedding was the first wedding they had there and I was impressed at how well it all turned out. They went above and beyond to make her day amazing. It even rained and they provided umbrellas for everyone! the barn and scenery is beautiful and perfect for pictures!! I would recommend this venue!! More...
