Nice venue for a concert but the drinks are outrageously pricey!

Saw ATB here. It was awesome. Beautiful girls serving VIP and dancing. Bartenders were pretty cool. Coat check is $3.

went to see a comedy show with my grown son -Foil, Arms and Hog. Excellent show. The stage and decor are from the 20s or 30s. Very nice. I think my great grandmother might have performed there as a piano player and singer. Parking is easy. Across the street is Tufts Medical with a huge parking garage. Special fee for parking for a performance in that area. Lots of old theaters where plays and shows happen. More...

Back in October, my fiancé and I had the pleasure of seeing IDLES at this lovely little venue. Our experience was absolutely exemplary! Bars were conveniently located, drinks were reasonably priced, bathroom was clean, coat check was awesome, sound was perfectly balanced. But the most notable part of our evening (outside of the awesome show we saw) was the security staff. These folks were awesome! They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a safe experience without sacrificing any of the riotous energy that comes with a punk show. They were gently pulling down crowd surfers at the barrier, checking them to make sure they were ok, then sending them off to get back into the crowd. I even saw a security guard offering some bottled water to a patron that looked a little overheated. I know this is a weird thing to geek out about, but it really was the coolest experience I’ve ever had with concert security. I would highly recommend catching a show at this venue. I really hope IDLES are able to swing by here again on their next US tour, because I would absolutely love to have another experience like that! More...

I would highly recommend this place. I went with a friend in a wheelchair & they were right on top of making sure she could see the show & got her in before the rush of people went through.

Every single time I’ve went to the Royale for a concert they’ve accommodated to the artists type of style perfectly. They also have many bars to choose from (5 I believe) which offers service you never have to wait for. They provide knowledgeable bouncers that will always protect you if need be. They are the most understanding with dress code. (Females don’t really even need one)... they have a beautiful bar, and it is my most favorite in Boston. HANDS DOWN! More...

Came in from out of town and this place, and the owner, are incredible. The owner was really concerned about everyone having the best time. And the DJ they had performing on Saturday night was BOMB AF. I love to dance, but my husband is more reserved and he STILL talks about how much fun we had on that night. If you’re thinking about it, stop. And just go. More...

Boston’s biggest nightclub. This place is an old theater that was converted into a nightclub. I’ve been here a dozen times and I’ve never left disappointed.

I went there twice this summer it was free on Saturdays. In general it was good considering they didn’t have big name DJs. I enjoyed myself. Definitely different from the grand interns of facility and the crowd. After all it’s a much older place. I liked it was a little over 11pm but they still let me and my friends in for free. More...

The first time I drove to Boston by myself was to see a reunited Concrete Blonde at the Royale. It was such a beautiful experience, and it empowered me to do this more often because the venue staff made it safe to do so. Plus, strong drinks, clean bathrooms, and not a bad seat in the house. More...

Let me start off by saying this venue/club is gorgeous! The interior is just beautiful and wide open. It is the only club in Boston that reminds me of the ones in Vegas (my favorite city) so it was a great first impression. I came here for a concert and got there when doors opened. Line moved pretty quickly, and even as it got crowded there was still plenty of space to walk around and dance. I did end up near the stage which was obviously packed (no complaints there, it's a concert) and that was fun because I got some water poured on me since it was so hot! Bathrooms were okay but I wish there were more stalls considering this is a venue. More...

Security was fast and sort of lacking at the door for a concert. Checked purses only. On the inside everyone was respectful, security looked very attentive and walked around to make sure everyone was being safe and respectful. Decent enough sound system but the sound mixer felt like they dropped the ball at times since it was 70% drums 30% lyrics. Everything else was good though. Would go again. More...

This is definitely one of the best spots to get a table in Boston. The balcony section has a great view and even better privacy. It’s a reasonable price in comparison to other clubs in Boston. Highly recommend heading over here but try and go through a promoter for some solid deals. Sometimes service can be bad and the hostesses don’t really help out. More...
