I love it here! The women who run this place are so nice and always welcoming!! Every time I go they offer me their homemade salsa and I think that makes this place even more special! Same as last year, I came here again on Mother's Day since this resturant is my mom's always-go resturant. I ordered California Omelet and Garlic Fries for me as usual. And my family ordered Cobb salad, Patty Melt, and more. It was all great and fresh. One thing to say is that the resturant was busier than what I thought. I dont know whether I chose the wrong hour or not, but I needed wait a bit to pick up my stuff. But the workers were all doing their best to give my food as soon as possible. The food took longer than usual because there were many orders before mine, but the food, taste, service were all worth waiting. Hopefully I can come back here soon(because I live kinda far away...) and will definietly come and dine-in with my family once everything settles down. :) More...

Basically I wish to reiterate what I wrote in my review for the location in Sierra Madre with the exception that I've always gotten my food hot here lol service is also great here. "I first visited Nano's when I found it in the Monrovia location off of Duarte road... it was a pleasant surprise to me to find out they also have one in Sierra Madre, closer to me. I told my husband we should go and for two consecutive Saturdays we have gone. I have to say I love the food, I love the prices and service was great. My only complaints are that I cant seem to get my food hot enough. I'm one of those people who likes their food super hot and while I know that isn't always necessarily acceptable due to the health department citing it as a hazard, I wish it would come out hotter than just warm. Such a nice place! I always come with my friends and classmates to have breakfast. I love its cozy environment. My preferences are waffle and omelette. Services are so good, waitresses are awesome and always have smiles on the face. If you are trying to find American traditional food, definitely come this one. Love love the biscuits and gravy!! Perfectly made. Arrived at Nano cafe after a morning hike with a group of 9 when we all walked up, we thought we would be waiting longer the 20 min to our surprise it was less then 20min don' t be fooled by the outside this place is big. Let me say the service here was quick and so friendly. I would come back here just for that reason. The food was certainly comfort style and homey. I'm on the search for the best Eggs Benedict. The eggs were poached perfectly, but the ham was super salty and the hollandaise had too much lemon for me. However, it was still decent and I ate the whole thing. The breakfast was delicious. Coffee was on point. I love diner coffee. I highly recommend it. Fresh orange juice, toast, just enough butter on my toasty bread. The waffle was perfect soft and toasty but not too sweet even with their toppings. Why 4 stars? Maybe it's a bit harsh but the eggs were not on point. I asked for over medium and they definitely looked fried. Both of us got fried eggs. I ordered hashbrowns, saugage and eggs but should have gotten bacon because the sausage wasn't anything delicious but it was good.Anyway, I just changed it to 5 stars because the lady helping us at the breakfast counter was superb. Omg love this place. My family and I enjoy our meals every time. Took my husband for the first time to try it and he was amaze. He order up some chicken and waffle huge plate. I order some egg benedict with a side of kimchi fries. Oh My God those kimchi fries!!!! I love it. Huge portion. Friendly people. It just feels like home. Everyone is kind and if your a regular everyone just makes conversation. The feeling is warm and comforting. It's like a vintage restaurant. It does get pack but it's worth it. They close early and I do wish they open all day. But I'm glad they open. I believe closing time is 3 pm. My favorite cafe hands down. Keep up the great work everyone. Came in for breakfast/ brunch. It was busy, but servers were attentive to us! I ordered Chorizo scramble that came with hash brown and toasts, and cinnamon roll French toast. Chorizo scramble: server offered us salsa with it. It's scramble egg with onion, tomato, and bell peppers. The hash brown was crispy! They served the toast with butter spreader on it! Love it! Cinnamon roll French toast: it is special! They sliced a cinnamon roll for French toast! The salt from the butter match well with the sweetness of the cinnamon roll! It goes well with black coffee! So glad me and my husband found this place after car shopping near by! We went on a Sunday for brunch and there was only two other couples in front of us and we only waited about 15min. The parking lot is small but so is the restaurant so that's expected. Friendly server, I can't remember her name but she was fast & nice! We sat in the patio and it had a nice breeze flowing through it. The prices were so good for the quality of breakfast you get! Me and my husband got two different types of French Toast. I got the regular and he got the cinnamon French toast. And he liked his but once he had mine he definitely thought mine was best. Over all we really enjoyed our meal! And we will definitely be back. I would describe this place as an upscale diner, with less grease and fresh ingredients. It is about 20% more in price compared to regular diner prices, but they clearly have loyal customers who are not bothered by the price. No complaints about the food itself. The portion size is smaller than what I am used to (no leftovers) but that is fine with me. We ordered chicken salad croissant sandwich with fruit upgrade and asparagus omelette. The $1 fruit upgrade came with at least six different fruits (banana, grape, mango, honeydew, melon, strawberry). The omelette was scrambled instead of folded, but perfectly cooked.Parking was the most challenging part. We had to park on the street because the lot was full. There was one party ahead of us but we didn't have to wait too long. The interior is small. The unisex bathroom is outdated, dimly lit, with an unreliable toilet handle. While there is a highchair, I didn't notice a changing table. I wouldn't mind eating here again, but this is not a good place to bring a toddler. More...
