Bella was amazing and really took time working through the tensest parts of my body during the deep tissue massage. Usually when I get a full body massage, the therapist skips over the back/shoulder area very quickly to get to other parts. But Bella focused on this area because she knew it had been giving me the most discomfort. The release that I felt in my back and shoulders was evident and even a week later, I still feel much less tension than I usually do. Absolutely LOVE this place! It's so cute and welcoming and calming as soon as you walk in. Above that, Bella was incredible! She welcomed me with a glass of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries (never been offered that before for a relaxing massage session )There's a relaxation room where you can lounge and wait for your appointment and the massage was EXACTLY what I needed. The perfect amount of pressure to break up the tension I've been having in my back combined with therapeutic massage. I've gotten regular massages about once a week for 3 years or so and I give Bella my highest rating. Bella is just a fantastic CMT. I recently moved back to San Diego from overseas and needed to find a new CMT for my various interconnected back related issues (herniated and degenerative discs, sciatica, muscle spasms, etc.). I tried a few local places in La Jolla but couldn't find a deep tissue / Swedish CMT that was an expert which is what I need. I also do Thai and there a couple good ones for that in the area but deep tissue is a must as well. Anyway, Bella is talented, finds the problem areas quickly, and uses combination techniques to work out knots - the best part was communication, both before and during the massage; she took extra time to review my medical history and discuss and address my issues on the fly. She also managed to make it a nice relaxing experience with great Swedish technique. I booked my next appointment with her right after the session ended today and will be buying a package that drops the price down to only 50 a massage, under my insurance company's reimbursement level for a great masseuse in a great and professional ambience. Couldn't ask for more!Update April 2018. I've seen Bella almost every week for the last almost year and wanted to sing her praises some more. I've had friends and family see her and EVERYONE says she's the best. I have visited my amazing chiropractor exactly zero times since I've been seeing Bella. She is like Mr. Miagi from the karate kid...she can fix everything. She was on vacation for two weeks and I almost had to see my chiropractor, told her she's only allowed to leave in one week increments from now on lol. Lots of people swear by their masseuse, or think a massage is a massage and can only tell if it's not very good compared to a few others they've had or against their regular person. I can promise you she's in the top 5% worldwide. If you're in town for business or vacation, man or woman, don't waste your time elsewhere. If you live here, no reason to visit anyone else. I have been going to Bella for years for minor back aches and pains. She always helps me feel relaxed, refreshed, and revived. Her beautiful place in La Jolla is so inviting. The ocean breeze gently blowing through windows dressed with soft, white curtains, faintly glowing with sunlight makes it easy to drift off, imagining I'm lying carelessly on the beach. Bella's hands find my knots and pains, as if by magic. I'm a baby when it comes to pressure, but she knows how to coax and stretch out my tension without me wincing in tremendous pain. I never want my massage session to end, but when it does, I feel like a new person. Bella, herself, is a very kind-hearted, caring gal. Truly one of the best massages I've had in sometime. Namaste is not a big spa experience. I called for an appointment and was able to get in quickly without having to set up an online spa account etc. The space was well appointed and private. I made an appointment for a 90 minute massage with Bella and was not disappointed. Spent a couple minutes going over treatment goals etc and Bella tailored a massage to my needs. Despite this being my first session with her, she was quickly able to identify the trouble spots and work on them. I arrived a little early for my first time visiting Kim for my brows and was greeted at the door and offered water and a seat while she finished setting up quickly for me! ( I was probably 20 minutes early and she was ready in about 3 minutes for me ! )The spa was very cute and very clean and within a few minutes she brought me back to the brow room and she got to work! She Trimmed, Tweezed, Waxed & Tinted my brows as well as filled the areas in with make up that I needed. They looked GREAT. I LOVED the tint which was something I had never done before and it was fairly inexpensive to do! She is definitely a brow EXPERT. She took before shots so I am excited to see the progress over the next few months! My eyebrows were too thin after previously getting "Threading" done but I had been letting them grow in for a few weeks previous to visiting Kim. She did a beautiful job and exceeded my expectations for being a first time visitor. It always sucks having to clean up someone else's mess and I know my brows are in safe and steady hands with her. I have to say, I usually prefer massage by men. They just usually have a firm touch with broader hands that just feel better. That said, Bella was amazing. She had just the right pressure and could hit all my pain points just right. The room was very aromatic, smelling of lavender and lemongrass. The atmosphere was typical for what you'd get at a massage shop. I would comment that I found the sheets around my face to be a bit on the course side, but that's about the extent of complaint I can make. Everything was fabulous. Just wish I'd booked a longer session, though I think she probably spent a few minutes longer than I'd booked. Next time, I'll go for the 90 minute without hesitation. I found Bella through Spa week running a deal for $50 for a 60 minute massage and choice of 10 minute scalp run or foot scrub accompanied by chocolate dipped strawberries and mimosa. When I arrived let me start off by saying it was so cutely decorated and clean. There was cheese and crackers waiting for me in the waiting room. Bella was sitting behind the front desk and ran over to grab me my champagne and strawberries. The massage itself was honestly the best massage of my life. She made sure to ask exactly what  type of massage I wanted before getting started, she used different scents for different parts of the massage, she explained what she was doing while she switched areas. After the massage I went back in the waiting room to finish off my mimosa and relax before heading home.I have never received such professionalism and care from any spa. I first found out about this place because of spa week--I chose the 80 min. customized massage.I was given a massage by Bella and enjoyed it very much! She was very welcoming and accomodated any needs I might've had prior to my massage. She also included a scalp massage and it was pretty life changing. She applied peppermint and cocounut oil to my hair which left me feeling minty & rejuvinated!I also liked that she didn't talk much during the massage because that can be rather distracting.They also offer a courtesy reminder which is always a plus.
