Mystique Asian Restaurant & Lounge

We are currently eating here. Each item has been sub par. The scallions were very oily, sushi is not fresh and we are hesitant to order the main wondering what we might get. Waste of money.

Lovely birthday dinner at Mystique. Everyone seemed to know it was my birthday! We had the $59 special which never disappoints and is a tremendous value. So many wonderful options to choose from. Our waiter, Brian, was terrific - professional, friendly and appropriately attentive. They very kindly comped one of our desserts AND I received a happy birthday cookie! It was the only restaurant open on a Tuesday night at 5 in the casino (that wasn’t Shake Shack or Dunkin Donuts). Was looking drinks and decent appetizers, not a sandwich or donut, so we went here. Friendly and attentive staff, nice atmosphere for a date night or drinks with friends. Food ranged from awesome to not so awesome (but no where in between). After two bites of pork belly I gave up, it was so tough, not the melt in your mouth fat and tender meat I have come to expect. Dumplings were really good tasting (filling was… pated, a brown ball that fell out of the wrapper with a thud onto the plate-still tasty but the consistency was not what I’m used to from every other dumpling I’ve eaten… ever). There was one dipping sauce that I could eat every day, where the others were not to my taste. Would grab drinks and appetizers here again solely due to staff being really nice. They also have lounge seating (too many bar tops remind me of sports bar decor but that my hang up) so if you’re in heels/a skirt and climbing up a bar stool isn’t your thing, this place has you covered.
