This is long, so buckle up! My 13 year old son and his group of friends are really into escape rooms. We were looking for something a little different for his birthday since they’ve done so many. THIS WAS PERFECTION! 1. My crazy self accidentally booked online the wrong night. I didn’t even notice until they called to see if my party was coming. They were so kind and gracious and simply moved me to the next night where I thought I’d booked. 2. We had a child in the party who has celiac and has very severe reactions to even the slightest cross-contamination. The wait staff talked to the mom on the phone and went above and beyond to make sure this child was safe. They made an all around delicious hearty gluten-free meal with alternate options for GF dinner roll and dessert. They used separate gloves for his meal and brought his meal out first to make sure there was not even a crumb of gluten near him. I was super impressed. I know the child has dealt with the issue a long time, but he felt very included because of their actions. 3. I had 6 middle school boys with me. They were loud, excited, active, and curious. Every actor was super patient with their crazy ideas and constant interrupting. I cannot say enough how awesome they are with that age group. It couldn’t have been easy to stay in character. If you’re looking for a date night, this is it. If you’re looking for a wholesome family night, this is it. If you’re looking to bring a bunch of hyped up middle schoolers to a unique birthday outing, this is it… (although it’s not for the faint of heart 🤣). We will be back. Amazing! Super developed themes and the first place we have done an escape room where our Gamemaster would come into the room (if asked) in character. Very competitive price too--especially because every booking is private. Kids under a certain age are cheaper, so a preteen birthday event would be perfect too. We recently attended the Murder Mystery Dinner! We had so much fun! The food was great! The cast was awesome! We then decided to try an escape room. Now you need to know that we aren’t good at escape rooms, so I asked which one was easiest. We were told Baby Come Back. We signed up for it. I LOVE that in these escape rooms, we have a real live actor come in with the hints and interact with us!! Our guy, Jonah was so much fun! We actually solved in with 10 minutes left!! So MUCH fun!! Only complaint is the food. It wasn’t great… simple is better when serving the public. Steak, baked potatoes, rolls, mac n cheese and salad would have been a much better option OR dessert & show that started at 730. There was a lot of down time but once the show started it was a blast! I highly recommend this place for a fun group activity! Texas Roadhouse took a large group out to try the Split competition room and we had the best time. Seriously… I’ve played over 50 games at many different places in many states and Perplexodus is by far the most Creative and FUN that I have played. I really love the detail they put into everything!! 10/10 recommend. Baby come back is a MUST do and Split is awesome if you have at least 6 people IMO… it was hard but the acting that comes with it is on point. You have to try them all!? More...
