Being able to provide a safe space where clients can be vulnerable enough to begin addressing the issues that brought them to therapy in the first place. We then work with you on decreasing your symptoms, increase your coping methods and give you hope for a better today and beyond.

My Healing Journeys was created to support women and couples who are struggling with the worry, anxiety, self-doubt and fear that comes with being newly diagnosed or living for years with a chronic illness. We know it’s can be a scary journey ahead for you. This is why we walk along side you with loving, compassionate and practical counseling skills and tools to help you begin to manage both the emotional and mental changes you’re experiencing. Together will we work to help calm the storm of emotions and help you to adjust to your new normal with chronic illness for yourself, with your partner and your relationship with others.

Living with chronic illness is not just physical, but an emotional toll one as well. We support you emotionally so you can better focus on the physical aspects on your journey to healing and better managing your chronic illness, day to day. We can also work with your medical team to support you in a holistic manner. We understand chronic illness and are here to help you not just live, but to also thrive with chronic illness.

We are a 100% virtual counseling practice. We are a close as your phone, tablet or laptop. This allows you to receive therapy in the environment that's most comfortable for you.

We are a virtual only counseling practice and do not meet clients in person.

Services

Exhaustion, anxiety, and depression due to being last on your list, doesn’t have to be your everyday normal. We provide support for the incredible women who tirelessly care for everyone around them, often at the expense of their own well-being. We understand that as a woman, it can be easy to fall into the trap of putting the needs of others before our own needs, but we believe that true self-care is essential for maintaining your own mental, emotional, spiritual health and happiness.

We are dedicated to helping you embrace the idea that caring for yourself is not a selfish act, but rather a necessary one. We help you to reduce the stress and increase the self-compassion to help you rebuild resilience and overcome any obstacles that may be preventing you from fully embracing self-care. Self-care is an act of love towards yourself, and those around you.
