Ryan and his team are amazing! My company booked them for our Christmas party and we're so glad we did. The team is professional and easy to work with from beginning to end! When I had my consultation with Ryan he was very thorough in his explanation of the service and cost. He was also our DJ for the night. He hosted our white elephant, always played great music, and was so great at hyping up the crowd! We booked the karaoke and Photo Booth, they were a hit. Let me start off by saying how professional Ryan (business owner and DJ) is. He truly made our day special. Ryan was able to not only DJ and emcee our event, but he also set up our Photo Booth and took care of day of duties. I've known Ryan for several years and to say that I am honored he could host our event is an understatement. He showed us each package and what he was able to provide before we signed. The day of, Ryan was a rockstar!! He played the music we chose and made the day sooooo much fun. He's so easy to work with and the outcome was amazing! He kept the party going! So much fun! Ryan and his team provided DJ Karaoke and Photo Booth services for our college graduation party. From the start, Ryan was flexible, friendly, professional and easy going. He promptly answered all my questions and even went above and beyond by contacting the venue's manager. We had zoom meetings and phone calls to finalize details, and Ryan's expansive experience and knowledge were quite evident in his suggestions. On the day of the party, Ryan was at the venue early setting up. Between the video pictures of the guest of honor, the music, lighting and photo booths, everyone who walked in was wowed. Ryan's assistant, Adam, was SUPER patient with demonstrating the options for the photos, how to send them to yourself, print them, etc. It was a great party, and many thanks to Ryan and his team! This review is way over due! Ryan and his team planned an amazing party for our daughter's Quince in October 2022 -- from the very beginning Ryan was super easy to reach, spent a lot of time with us discussing our ideas for the party and also offered many helpful ideas of his own. We spent several months with him planning -- he was always super patient and available with all of our questions and many of our last minute ideas. He put together a video montage, DJ'd for our party - including a dance floor, lighting throughout our backyard and also found a huge LED Screen that played throughout our party. We had an adult bar and a kids mocktail bar that he and his team organized with a drink menu. This was our second party with Music Makes You Move and they are truly the best!If you have any party needs, definitely use Music Makes You Move. We booked Music Makes You Move for my mom's surprise birthday party. We got the karaoke and selfie booth package with a DJ, and Ryan didn't disappoint! He was there early to set up and worked with the little space we had for everything. It was a small dinner party, but everyone had a blast. He played great music while we ate, and he got everyone excited for karaoke. Ryan's team also creates graphics to showcase on the karaoke tv screen and selfie booth screen! I cannot recommend Ryan & Music Makes You Move enough! Ryan has been the DJ at 3 weddings we've been to, and when we got engaged there was no question about who we wanted to be the DJ for our wedding.
Due to Covid, we had to reschedule our wedding 3 times. Ryan was incredibly understanding and made sure he was available for our final wedding over a year later. He took care of the sound for our ceremony, our cocktail hour music, DJ'd our reception, and provided lighting and our photo booth. It was so nice to have 1 vendor provide so much! He is organized, professional, friendly, and makes the planning process fun and easy. He asks great questions to get an idea of what you're looking for and has lots of helpful suggestions and ideas if you're not sure exactly what you want (like me). Ryan went above and beyond to find specific songs we requested, played all the songs we asked from our playlist, and filled in the rest with songs that kept all of our guests (from 2 to 82) dancing all night long. He has great energy and our wedding party, other vendors, and guests couldn't say enough good things about him and how much fun they had. You can't go wrong with Ryan and Music Makes You Move. He's amazing and if you hire him, your event will be too!
