Music Lessons With Hayden

Hayden is a fantastic teacher!!! My 7 year old daughter has only had 3 ukulele lessons with Hayden, and she can already play and sing several recognizable songs! 3!!! The whole family is just amazed!! She loves all the songs he has her working on, a great mix of old classics and new hits. He also encourages her to find songs she wants to play, which is a huge motivation for her as well! Scheduling lessons is super easy- via text, he is very responsive to messages; his schedule is flexible and can always work with our crazy schedule too. The fact that he comes to our house makes us so much easier with a much younger sibling!!! Hayden is super patient and his chill vibe is infectious! I couldn't recommend him more!! My daughter is loving lessons and loves practicing her ukulele. I hope we can work with Hayden for a long time to come!!! Thank you for everything! UPDATE: We are on lesson #8, and my daughter is still loving lessons and practicing! She can play a large handful of songs from memory, and is learning complex songs that have her both strumming and picking her ukulele. I was fortunate enough to take guitar lessons from Hayden for a few years starting when I was 12 years old. He immediately had a profound impact on my perception of the instrument; sharing his skills and knowledge, introducing me to legendary artists and the complex techniques they used, while giving me the direction and guidance I needed to develop a solid foundation and push my abilities as a guitar player. In the 10+ years since I've seen him, his lessons and words are still echoing in the back of my mind, I constantly find myself playing songs and even disciplinary exercises that he taught me long ago to continually help improve my playing and grow. Hayden is an excellent teacher of music. He doesn't just teach people to play the guitar, he also teaches them to sing along with it. He knows so many other musical instruments it it's amazing. About a year and a half ago I was looking for a distraction from video games for my son Ryan who really loves video games and who is pretty shy and introverted. I was thinking that he's really good with those thumbs and perhaps he could be just as good with a guitar. Then we met Hayden (yay). I explained the situation and Hayden agreed to lessons w Ryan. At first I was thinking this was way too painful as Ryan really didn't want to participate and I figured that Hayden was dreading every second of lessons but not the case at all. Hayden is always positive and encouraging as he shares his incredible talent and love of music. Ryan has shown progression in his skill but more importantly, he's opened up so much and expresses himself way more than he did before lessons. I often hear him humming tunes that he is working on with Hayden, he walks around snapping his fingers and displays a greater sense of rhythm. I am so grateful for Hayden.
