My husband and I asked this company to file our 2022 tax. It took 3 weeks reviewing our tax and finished the tax claim without asking or confirming. The Foreign tax amount was not correct because of the difference of currency. So we asked to change the amount because the Mulko CPA didn't follow up and finished before clarifying with us. My husband found out when he had a meeting with the CPA. So my husband asked to change the number and he did it. And then, the company charged an extra $360 to change the amount of number. The company took $360 from our bank account without asking and authorized. We already paid over $850 and they took money extra $360 without saying anything. The CPA filed without checking with us and the number was not right. Also they charged without asking anything to take money from our bank account. This is absolutely ridiculous. We asked why you took money from our bank account and we didn't give access to our bank account. The receptionist lady said that our credit card didn't work. That is bullshit. If our credit card doesn't work, we get the notification from our credit card company. We didn't receive any notification at all. We asked to return our money to our bank account. However, it has been 2 weeks but we still haven't received money yet. we asked them why we still haven't received it. The first time was that the system didn't work, will send and take 3-5 days, and now will charge through the credit card first and refund cash to our bank account. I have never seen this type of CPA office and had a horrible experience with this company. NEVER NEVER want to work for this company ever. HORRIBLE OFFICE. More...

Hello Yura, I hope you and your husband are doing well and we are sorry to hear that you perceived what happened in this way.  From the beginning of the process, we explained the engagement process step by step in detail to your husband and asked him to upload to your secure portal all the necessary tax documentation to proceed with the tax return. Before proceeding with the tax return, we confirmed with him if he had uploaded all the necessary documentation and his response was affirmative and to proceed. However, once the tax return was started and completed to the point all documentation provided was processed, Mr. Mulko asked for additional foreign currency conversion and others, which were missing, which after it was provided by you a few days later, it generated additional unplanned work as a result. (Your husband did not bring this matter up, it was Mr. Mulko that advised your husband this information was missing) These additional work was attempted to be billed to his chosen primary method of payment recorded on the authorization for direct payment engagement agreement , which was the credit card, but it was declined 3 times on three different days, so we proceeded with the second choice method of payment he provided, the bank account.  He then asked us to charge the credit card again and reimburse the bank account as it had been overdrawn and you were on vacation, which we politely agreed to and were not obligated to do, as he had already provided his authorization to bill his checking account. Again, when we attempted to bill his credit card, payment was denied again, twice on two different occasions and as a consequence, we were not in a position to issue a checking account reimbursement.  On our part, we gave you all the indications and facilities possible.  If at any time you wish to contact us regarding this situation, please contact us any time.
