We used Mukha for my wedding. Myself, bridesmaids, and my mom all had the pleasure of working with Tim and Sanito. We all had A BLAST. Tim is hilarious and so talented. I was sprayed with 24 karat gold shimmer... I mean, come on. Everyone looked beautiful and they made the day so much fun. I hardly ever wear makeup on a daily basis, and Tim made sure I looked my best but also still looked like me. Nothing was caked on, it was all smooth, and looked so natural. They also made me a custom lip gloss to take. I love it. Let me start by saying I LOVE this place.  Tim makes you feel like a queen just walked into the room.  He and Sanito have this way of making you feel amazing.  The spa setting is very chic and eclectic.  They know so much about your face.  Blemishes?  Gone!  Dead skin?  Gone! Wrinkles?  Gone!  He is almost magic.On top of having a great skin care line, they do makeup like no one in town.I had no idea Tim could make me look this way.  They do the airbrush makeup and can pull out your best features.  He made my eyes look like the girls in the magazines.  Then I found out he used to do Patty LaBelle's makeup.Well Duh!  No wonder my makeup looked so Amazing. The facials here are awesome!  Alex is so good at skin care.  My face feels amazing after being cleansed, masqued, waxed and moisturized by her.  My hands, arms and decolletage were massaged too. All in a warm, relaxing and quiet place.  What could be better after a long workday?  The staff is very accommodating and fun too.  And their products are great too.  My favorite is Solar Shield, which I now wear daily to protect my aging skin.  Thanks for all you do to keep me looking good! I've been coming to Mukha for waxing since the beginning of the year. The decor is very inviting and the staff always looks well-put together and professional. I've seen a few people here - Megan, Rebecca - because it can be hard to get an appointment that works for you if you don't book well ahead of time, and I have liked all of them. They are obviously experienced, make the client feel comfortable, and do a good job. I have to say that Tim, who I have only met today, is my favorite! He has a lot of personality, is direct but not mean, and gives a lot of good tips to subtly transform your look for a big impact. I loved the advice he gave for my eyebrows, and I think tailored, unique advice is generally missing from the beauty industry. Even when I specifically ask hair stylists for advice about framing, they usually don't have much to say. I think Tim has a good eye and isn't shy to tell you what he thinks will work best to make the most of your raw material. He gave me some product samples for my skin, a nice touch that I appreciate. Will definitely ask for him again for any brow, skin care, or make-up consultation services. Like I said, I think you'll get a good quality result from most staff members, I just personally think Tim has great insights about aesthetics and wants people to look their best, without being unrealistic about what "best" is for them. Megan was referred by my mother-in-law to do my wedding day makeup. I'd never had airbrushed makeup, and I don't typically wear a lot of makeup, so I was a little nervous! Megan was absolutely wonderful. We did a "test run," and Megan proved her amazing talents! The makeup feels so light, and you you look absolutely flawless with it. Plus, she's just awesome to work with. She was always available for questions/wedding-day scheduling convos, etc. I even booked pre-wedding wax with her, too, and my brows looked the best they've ever looked in my life.Day-of, Megan came to our wedding venue to do my makeup, and some bridesmaids and moms. She listened to everyone's skin needs/requests, made everyone feel super comfortable, and of course, they all looked stunning. I'm in Ohio for a few weeks and was in need of a facial. I ALWAYS check Yelp reviews before trying a new place. Most of the reviews named Tim or Megan. When I called to make my appointment the receptionist was extremely friendly knowledgable of all their products and services. Cierra was very patient with all of my questioning!! I was disappointed to hear Tim and Megan were both booked into the new year but she assured me Alex was as equally as good and trained under Tim the owner for nearly a year. I was greeted with a friendly smile and a very warm welcoming! The salon is very chic modern decor and intimate. Alex greeted with a friendly smile and I thought OMG she's like 19 should I leave! WELL to my surprise she shocked me!! She was VERY knowledgeable about skin care and skin care products. Mukha offers their own skin care line and she educated me on the products but didn't force it down my throat!  The facial and the neck/arm massage were amazing! The products are all organic smelled so good pumpkin sage cinnamon etc. I wanted to lick my mask..lol. I do want to purchase their astringent for blemishes from Mukha's skin care line but they were out but they offer free shipping so stay tuned for my review on that product. I had my first ever extraction session at Mukha with Colleen and it was awesome! She was very knowledgeable with the whole breaking out thing and she was also good at what she was doing. I've done so many extractions in my life and all of them were just painful to me but the one Colleen did for me was almost painless - I was amazed. I felt like she genuinely cared about my skin condition as well since my face was really red and sensitive after the extraction and she gave me a free trial of lactic acid mask to help my face tone down some of the redness (I didn't even request for it!). Before I left, she also gave me a sample of vitamin B moisturizer because she felt that it suits my over-drying skin during winter. Had my first visit at Mukha for a facial and spray tan before my daughter's wedding.  Loved everything about it--staff, atmosphere and results were great.  Colleen (? Sorry I'm terrible with names) was great about explaining everything in a friendly, knowledgable manner.  I recently had a skin cancer biopsy on my shoulder that was still healing and she came up with a great approach for making sure the spray tan looked good in that spot.  I'll definitely be back! Tim did my make up for my wedding and my lord I looked amazing. I looked natural and like myself only 20 time better. I had an outdoor reception and it was 97 degrees outside and my make up never budged. I love Mukha.  Megan is pure magic!I have been getting facials from Megan for a few years now and I am so glad that I found her!  When we fist moved to Columbus, I went to a couple of other spas and was disappointed with the service; after several recommendations, I booked an appointment at Mukha and never looked back!The thing that is so great about Megan is that she really CARES about how you are going to look and feel after you leave.  She is always recommending (and giving free samples!) of treatments that she thinks I could benefit from.  And I don't know how to stress enough that I feel like she does this because she really has your best interest at heart and that is has nothing to do with making extra service sales.  It is like going to a friend who has all of these great toys to play dress up with.Also, the Mukha products that I have used are amazing.  The sunblock is unlike anything that I have ever used!  As a pale girl, I had just learned to accept that when I went to the beach, my face would get burned no matter how much sunscreen I used.  The Mukha sunblock is impenetrable and I can go for hours in the sun with it on without the slightest trace of pink.  I also use the facewash and moisturizer..  it is all such amazing stuff!  We are so lucky to have such an incredible spa in the Short North and I really cannot say enough about how wonderful it is! I went here on my birthday for a mani-pedi.  Prior to the visit, I read your reviews on here and this is why I chose it.  You were correct, this is a terrific salon.  A/C was just right, not too cold.  No smell of acrylics because they don't do this.  Very relaxing, sophisticated, quiet.  Just what I wanted.  Phyllis did the work and she is a very sweet woman.
