I had Summer do my hair and makeup for my elopement in Yosemite National Park last week. I live in southern California and chose not to do a trial. Because of this and the fact that I don't wear a lot of makeup, I was a little nervous about how it would turn out. To top it off, my vrbo gave me the wrong street address which I gave to her..and left her driving around Yosemite west with no cell reception on the day of. However, once she made it to our place, Summer put all doubts to rest. She was so kind, professional, and communicative. I only showed her a picture or two for ideas of what I wanted and she knew exactly what I was hoping for. She has expertise and experience in weddings, which means your hair and makeup will last through the day even through the elements (it rained and hailed on my day). Her and her girls did the hair and makeup for 6 of my bridesmaids, my mother-in-law, mother, flower girl, and myself and each one of us looked like a freakin' goddess! I booked Summer for my elopement on the recommendation of my photographer and by looking at Summer's website and reviews. I live on the east coast I never even met Summer until my wedding day . Summer was extremely easy to work with from the moment I emailed her. She was available and accommodating. She was so easy to work with. She had endless amounts of supplies ready for any occasion. She really listened to what I wanted and gave opinions but made sure my look was how I had envisioned it. She was friendly and upbeat and just a pleasure to be around. Picking someone for my wedding day that I've never met could've been nerve wracking but it wasn't. It was fun and easy and I couldn't be happier. Summer does amazing work. Summer has been my M.U.A.H artist for many years. I have never been disappointed with her work. She has always been easy to work with and gives me great advice on future styles.
