Leaf Removal
Removal of leaves from your entire yard for collection by the
county or we hauled away. To avoid damage to the grass, we generally pile the leaves
along the curb instead of on top of the grass. If you want us to pile the leaves on
top of the grass, please let us know.
Weeding of Mulched Areas
Time necessary for weeding mulched areas every
three (3) weeks from early/mid-April through the end of the growing season. A
pre-emergent weed control may be applied at the time of mulch installation. Any
dry perennials or overgrown ground cover will be trimmed during each visit.
Charges for this service will be billed in equal increments every 3 weeks, which
comes out to 10 times during the growing season.
Fall Core Aeration/ Over-seeding
Core aeration is the quickest and most
effective way to relieve soil compaction and improve your overall soil conditions.
Core aeration increases the ability of water, air, and nutrients to reach the root
system of your grass and helps reduce thatch buildup. Seed must be watered daily
for approximately 3 weeks for best results. We cannot guarantee results of the
over-seeding and aeration because factors outside of our control affect the results
of the work. However, we do guarantee that the lawn will be properly aerated and
that the correct type and amount of seed will be applied over the lawn.
Lime Application
Soils in this area are very acidic. Lime will help to
correct the soil Ph and allow the grass to take up the nutrients we apply throughout
the year. Proper Ph will also help control weeds since most weeds thrive in Acidic
soils.
Gutter Cleaning
Cleaning and collecting debris from all gutters on the entire
house twice per year (Late Spring and Late Fall). Mowing & More is not
responsible for removing debris inside gutters that have gutter covers.
Mulch Installation
Mulch will be spread in
designated locations and then combed to leave your mulched areas looking
clean and finished.
Any weeds in flower beds will be hand weeded before
mulch installation. All bed edges will be re-edged by hand to leave crisp,
clean edges. Time required for removing heavy weed growth may increase
the price of Mulch Installation
Spring/Yard Clean Up
Cleanup of all leaves and sticks from the entire property.
Any dry perennials or liriope will be trimmed back as necessary. All debris will be disposed of off-site.
Lawn Fertilizing & Weed Control
Your lawn will be fertilized according to a 5-
step turf care program. The program will also control for most grassy and
broadleaf weeds. All herbicide applications will be done by a licensed pesticide
applicator. The use of herbicides in Montgomery County will be subject to
restrictions enacted by the County
Professional Lawn Mowing
Your lawn will be mowed weekly (or as necessary as
determined by Mowing & More) April 1(or when grass begins to grow)-November 8. Any
lawn mowing done after 11/8 will be done on an as-needed basis. The lawn will
be mowed at a height of 3”. As part of mowing your lawn we also:
a. Edge all edges along defined flower beds, and hardscaped surfaces.
b. Trim all grass around obstacles or in areas inaccessible to lawn mowers.
c. Power blow debris from your driveway, sidewalks, patios, and curbs to give your
yard a nice, finished look.
d. Clean out the basement stairwell to prevent flooding of the basement.
Grass clippings and leaves on the lawn and hardscapes will be collected as necessary
for an additional charge of $6 for every 30 gallons of debris collected
