I have a unique blend of qualifications as a trainer. I have practiced many disciplines within the world of exercise and know many creative ways to challenge individuals and prevent injury. On the other hand, having studied physical therapy techniques, I have an extensive knowledge of the process of injury rehab and can provide guidance to safely transition back to exercise if you have experienced an injury in the past.

I find their primary long term goal and then break that long term goal into smaller short-term goals. Then we discuss what obstacles may get in the way of achieving the goal and find solutions to increase the likelihood of success. Finding another person to help hold them accountable, besides me, is an important consideration.

Most people know that there is no secret to meeting your fitness goals. It is all about consistency over time - consistent with a nutrition plan that you can sustain and enjoy, as well as building lean muscle, which helps you burn more fat. That being said, the body of YOUR dreams may also be feeling better, having more energy, walking with confidence through the world, or moving pain free so you can enjoy your life. I can teach you a holistic approach to help you find the right path for you, including strategies for better sleep, reducing anxiety and stress, and motivation techniques.

The one-on-one interaction with all the different types of personalities and helping people realize that exercise is not about torturing your body and punishing yourself for poor nutrition choices; exercise can be enjoyable and invigorating and creative.

I desired to have more freedom and autonomy in my daily work, and I love the idea of being my own boss!

Clients should work with me because I have six years of training under my belt and a thorough education in human physiology and biomechanics. I also have a unique blend of backgrounds including education, psychology, and a wide variety of movement and fitness experience so I can provide a very well-rounded fitness program.

I currently do not offer online or remote services because I prefer in-person interactions and find them more valuable for the client.

I communicate with clients about their safety preferences and offer in-home services if they are not comfortable in a public setting.

Services

I provide personal training services with a holistic approach that includes breathwork, strength and mobility, injury prevention, and post-rehab safe return to exercise. My emphasis is on joint health and longevity and helping you create a way to move better and feel better.
