My two dogs attended Mountain Made K9 four week Board and Train. Alisha was professional, easy to communicate with, and effective. I knew what to expect each step of the way and she was incredible at demonstrating, explaining, and teaching me too. Now that the dogs are home I cannot believe the improvement, including much less barking, great responsiveness to corrections for barking and other behaviors. No tugging at their leashes. Inky and Lida just graduated from the 4 week Board & Train. What Alisha accomplished in 4 weeks is nothing short of Amazing. One of the best decisions I have ever made. What do you love most about your job?
There are so many things I love about dog training! I love working with the dogs and their handlers to help make a difference in their lives!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am a former special education teacher of 10 years! I’m that time I grew tired of the system and felt frustrated that I was not permitted to help the families of the students I taught. So, I decided to start training service dogs for people with disabilities and help pet owners develop an effective communication system with their dogs that will positively change both their lives.

I have been trained and certified by Top Tier K9, the number 1 school in dog training. The training I received enabled me to become a confident, effective trainer.

I offer my board and train program virtually as either a private or group class. My puppy training programs have virtual components built into the programs.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All our equipment and kennels are cleaned and safely sanitized daily. Hand washing routines are implemented regularly and virtual programs have been developed.

This program is perfect for and dog owner! Whether you’re looking for help with reactivity, potty training, eliminating barking etc… this class is for you. The class is a 4 week, 8 session program that can be taken as a private class or in a group. Handlers learn:
