We had them come spray the yard and it didn’t work so we called and the lady told us they would come back and spray a second time for no charge. I’m still being eaten alive and so I called and asked for a refund and she said they don’t do that but they will keep spraying. How is this solving anything? More...

I called today for a service, the advertisement says it is Mosquito Joes of West Texas. They have a Lubbock office which is great, asked them to come spray my area/home, received pricing and tried to find out when they could come, then he called me back to inform me they have no customers in Brownfield and it wouldn’t be cost effective to just come spray one house! !! Well that is not servicing West Texas, does MJ not know that businesses grow by WORD OF MOUTH?!?!?! So if anyone else was needing their yards sprayed for mosquitos don’t bother calling them!!! Not a good service. They assured me that their product would work (even during the rainy season) especially if I paid extra and had them do the intensive 3 week treatment where they spray once a week for 3 consecutive weeks and then continue treatments every 3 weeks thereafter. They also explained that they do not spray if there is a chance of rain and that their technicians know if it's going to rain. Technician came out once and sprayed while it was raining. I had to call and have them stop and redo the treatment on another day. They missed another appointment and charged me. When I called, they said the technician came. When I told them I was home all day and no one came, they called back and said I was right and that they made a mistake. Technician came another time when it rained all day at our house. They said it wasn't raining when they did the treatment and that it only takes 15 minutes for the product to dry. Worst thing is that after several treatments (including their intensive initial 3 week treatment program) and after spending a lot of money, it never worked! Mosquitos are just as bad as before. Had family and guests over for 4th of July weekend and everyone had several mosquito bites and wanted to come back into the house because they couldn't stand being bitten by mosquitos anymore. We really wanted to like Mosquito Joe. We had informed them that we had dogs and needed a call before they came so that we could make sure they were put away. Terrible customer service and doesn’t work. We had them come out they didn’t even spray my entire yard even though they base the price on the sq ft of the yard. My neighbor hired Mosquito Joe to spray their lawn. My home is registered as certified pollinator & wildlife habitat, so I got my lawn tested and there was of course detectable contamination from industry insecticides. Earlier this week I called Mosquito Joe in Atoka TN and made an appointment to have my yard treated for fleas and ticks. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the ease of getting an appointment and fast scheduling. The lady I spoke with was extremely pleasant to speak with. Was really excited to start services after speaking with a salesman. I was told for that week they were busy trying to catch back up after the rains, which I understood, and was told I would receive a call the following week to finish setting up my account and schedule a time for them to come out to spray. I received an email telling me that they would be there today, Thursday between 12pm and 5pm. No call, no confirmation, just the assumption that I would be home on a weekday, call off work, and wait 5 hours for them to show up. When I called because I’ve been waiting all day and no one showed up and I needed to leave, the woman told me that “they don’t make appointments and they don’t call. Leave my gate unlocked and don’t have dogs”. I don’t know what sane person in Tulsa metro would leave their property unlocked and unattended while not home for over 5 hours waiting on a company to spray for bugs. It WORKS. First spay no bites ,in over 3 weeks,and only one bite out of the perimeter. I was able to clean my mom's pond,without sprays or lotions,that would hurt the fish. three services. messed up communication all through the three week ordeal. The second service, the kid sat in his truck and lied about doing anything. The third gentleman Rob was the best. The clincher was when I called to cancel, the customer service person was not really caring as I explained my reasons so obviously they must be used to folks cancelling all the time while the real in unsuspected customers who come in thinking this company really cares about giving a great service. I have been a customer since 2013 when they just launched. The chemicals they used then were by far much less diluted than they are now. They use to guarantee treatment in between your every three weekly services, and now charge you if they have to come in between. The first few years- the bugs were 100% gone, good and bad ones. Good service to enable you to enjoy outdoors without being attacked by mosquitos. Technician always sends notice he is on the way or has arrived so pets can be brought inside and windows closed. Recommend the service.
