My daughter and I wanted to try something new, and decided on Mosaic Grill. My 12yr old daughter; being the picky eater, surprisingly ordered the spicy chicken (one of the specials for today). She ate the entire plate! It was so good that I ordered one to-go for my son at home. I hope the spicy chicken finds its way onto the permanent menu. The chicken kabobs were great as well. This was a surprise. I initially desired some Gyros and this, the closest Greek-themed restaurant to me, became our destination.
So Pam, Angie, and I headed out. I admit I was a little disappointed when I learned they did not have Gyros, but they had a great selection to choose from, so I resolved to enjoy myself and decided what to try.
The young lady taking my order recommended a couple of dishes often served to substitute for Gyros. I ended up ordering the beef, and I was delighted. The food was outstanding.
Overall my visit was outstanding. The young woman who waited on us was so sweet and attentive, and our food was prepared timely with a clear focus on quality.
The owner stopped by the table to check on us, and we found that she had been in business for about a year. She has been cooking for many years and is an excellent asset to the community. Her husband is an active duty soldier stationed at Ft Hood.
They are a family that serves. If not serving us by protecting our nation, they serve our hunger with gourmet food at deli prices.

My fiancé and I are from Wabash Indiana, 16 hours away!! During our stay we wanted to eat out one time and stumbled across this gem. Fantastic food, great staff, and chef. Could not have been happier. We tried the mixed kabab plate (chicken, beef and shrimp) with corn rice and it was amazing. We also had a falafel wrap and fries, which was perfect, and the hummus, which was some of the best we've ever tasted. Do yourself a favor and give Mosaic Grill a try.
