I wanted to like this place since it seemed cozy and was bikeable for our family... our family loves a good Italian spot since we lived in Chicago for years and they are abundant there. We were excited for a yummy enjoyable meal....Narrator: It was not cozy, nor enjoyable. It was such a terrible experience. We pretty much were ignored by the wait staff the entire time. The service was... nonexistent? What service? I told my husband it seemed like they hired young kids and no management to help guide/manage them (which this is not a dig against hiring younger wait staff... but there was absolutely no direction being provided). The waitress told us she was new, and quite young, so we knew it wasn't her fault but geesh... it was such a disappointment. We sat outside and the temperatures were dropping... we did not anticipate spending an hour with nothing to show for it. I just wanted water and it took a good 30 mins to get that. Also, none of the heaters were working (or, the staff working didn't understand how to work them). Even when I walked around looking for our waitress, she couldn't be found. Finally, I tracked down a hostess and asked for help.. and that the kid's meal we put in 30 mins ago be put in a to-go box so my hungry toddler could just eat at home. We had ordered beers and they brought it out a good 40-60 mins after we had sat down, it came with the to-go box. Chug a lug, I guess? The kid's meal's side came with a rice crispy treat. Omg. So so so good. Went in early on a Monday for dinner. The ambiance is very nice and intimate. We ordered the chicken parm, cavatelli carbonara and a Caesar salad. All were wonderful. And they portions on the pasta were MASSIVE. It was easily 3 meals. Our server was very friendly and a little green :) overall I'd definitely come back here. Tonight was a great time at Morettis. I really enjoyed the entire experience. It was my dad's 70th birthday celebration. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. The food was delicious, and hot when it arrived. Our salads were fresh and crisp.We tried a new appetizers. Our server Hayley was very knowledgeable, personable, and made great suggestions about the appetizers, entrees, and helped us choose great drinks from the new "holiday drink menu", in addition to -suggestions of red wine to pair with our meals. She even chose sharable dessert for us. We will definitely be returning to this location. Came here for my birthday dinner and I'm so glad we did. All of the appetizers looked tasty and only around $8-$12 each. We ended up getting small caesar salads which were $5 each, and let me say they were way bigger than expected & super tasty! There were so many pasta options but I went with the fettuccine Alfredo and it was the best i've ever ever ever had! You could tell the noodles were fresh, the sauce was so thick & creamy as well. All pasta dishes were $21. They also offer chicken/veal plates, and specialty plates such as fish and stuff! To finish up we got dessert. I got a cannoli and it was good! They said it was regular with chocolate chips but I got one where the shell was covered in hard chocolate, still tasty but I would've preferred what the menu advertised. Fiancé got the creme brûlée and it wasn't his fav, luckily it was free because service was so slow but the top wasn't done right and the inside tasted very cheap. Tried Moretti's of Arlington tonight for the first time - it was my birthday dinner. The water glasses were dirty was the first thing we noticed. It took roughly one hour to receive our meals. My daughters meal was cold, the lasagne was blah, but my husband enjoyed the Italian plate, once we finally received it. They said they'd have the manager come to the table, that never happened. No amount was comped for the meal at all for the absurd amount of time we waited. We arrived at 7pm by the time we left only two tables were still occupied. Amazing this place is still in business. Got take out on Friday. Hadn't been to this location before. Chicken Marsala with gnocchi was delicious. Possibly not traditional but the sauce was creamy mushroom-y and had just enough of a Marsala hint. Added the Gorgonzola and bacon salad and it was enough for two. I have wanted to try Moretti's for a long time. I received a delivery order, getting lasagna and a Caesar salad. The salad was good, the lasagna not so much. First, I have never seen a lasagna that only has sauce on the bottom and top of the dish. The layers had ricotta, meat and spinach. The sauce was unbelievably salty, so even though it needed more, I'm glad they stopped with the top and bottom. I would order from them again, just not the lasagna. More...

Came here with an early dinner with my husband. We were seated on time and the waiter were all friendly and tremendously helpful. Service throughout the dinner was solid 5/5.Regarding the food, it was good overall. I had a few dishes that were a bit salty. Their Chicken Marsala was good. We love the food, but had trouble ordering takeout. On July 7th while the restaurant was open I called ten times to order takeout for July 8th. No one answered and message said memory full. I emailed the restaurant at 7:10pm and got a response at 10:36pm from Jami, so I emailed her our order and said in the email I would pick it up at 5:30pm July 8th. She emailed me back, see you at 5:30. I got there at 5:15 and Sarah at takeout told me that the order was in there for 6:30! I showed her the email from Jami. I then asked Sarah if she was working the night before and she said no, and I said I thought so, because I have watched Sarah work very hard multitasking, answering the phone, taking orders and preparing orders. She told the staff about the mix up and I was able to get my order by about 5:50pm. I appreciate her efforts every time, but am puzzled why no one answered the phone when I called ten times the night before. More...

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Columbus! The Arancini is to die for, probably even better than the entree itself for me (as a vegetarian)! They were also a good size. As an entree, I ordered eggplant parm. I originally had the eggplant lasagna but sent it back because there was an overwhelming amount of ricotta in the dish. I came across Moretti's on Google and this was my first time experiencing this restaurant! The lighting across the bar was very warm and welcoming. I have to say I had one of the best experiences and service. I ordered the shrimp carbonara along with the DELICIOUS cheesecake cookie! I have never been so satisfied with the service, food and drink menu! We also had a gentleman by the name of Nick stop by our table to check up on us (I think he was the manager) and was full on energy and genuine hospitality.My family and I will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant! I normally don't leave reviews because if I had a bad experience I like to reach out directly to the restaurant. Unfortunately, their email listed is not in service so I felt that I have no other way of communicating. My family and I visited last night and was very displeased. We came because on the online menu it had listed a family meal for 4 for 50$. When we got to the restaurant we noticed that the physical menus didn't have it listed. We asked if this was still something they offered and they said yes. We placed our order for the fettuccine Alfredo and chicken with a house salad. I will say, the food and service was pretty good. When we received our bill it was nearly double than what we were expecting. Instead of the 50$ family meal, we were charged 60$ for the entre and 25$ for the salad. When I asked the server about this she said that what I had pulled up online wasn't a thing. That they do offer family meals but that wasn't the price of it. I said, how can we know the price of the family meal if your physical menu didn't have the price listed but your online menu is "outdated" (words of the owner). The server wasn't able to correct the issue and there was no manager on site. She had to call the owner who said that that wasn't accurate and the menu online is outdated. I said well, it is currently up online and the other prices of the other offerings were the same as the physical menu. The server came back and gave us a 25$ reduction but said that chicken was 10$ extra. I said no, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken is listed as an option under the 50$ meal. She said they always charge extra for chicken. I eventually gave up and paid for the "extra chicken" because I didn't want to put the server in a bad spot again. It was unfair to her to have to call the owner up in the first place. There should have been a manager or someone on-site who can help with customer issues. Our first time at this long-standing family restaurant. We can not wait to come back!! Even before we finished our meal, we were planning when to come back. Food is delicious and the staff there is incredible! We enjoy dining out for the food and the experience--both were met exceedingly at Moretti's of Arlington.
