What inspired you to start your own business?
I believe I would have become a Life Coach many years ago if I'd realized it was something that was possible. As I climbed the ladder in my corporate job, as people asked me why I wanted to move up, my answer was always "I want to develop people; I want a team of people to develop." Through work with my own Coach, I realized I could do just that, every day, all day long, without all the other responsibilities associated with my corporate job. The momentum that I built working with my own coach, is what inspired me to pursue it myself. Not only do I now have a job I love, but most of my family is in England, so I was able to significantly improve those relationships, as well as those closer to me. I also took control of my well-being and started sleeping, decreasing my stress. I see possibility and greatness is every person I meet, this job allows me to help that person unleash their possibility and enjoy the next 20+ years of their life.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have over 15 years of experience working for a Fortune 50 company, ranging from entry level retail to executive experience. I have lived paycheck to paycheck and handled the pressure of meetings and presentations with C-Level leadership..
Most importantly, I care and I get it. I have lost or unconsciously relinquished control of my time and my schedule. I have prioritized others over myself, time and time again. I have been in the race, wondering and or worrying about where I was ranking amongst my peers and what would people think if they all moved ahead faster than me. I have loved my work, not noticed the long hours that were spent there or cared. I have not needed a vacation from it. And then...I have not loved my work and not understood what was happening or why. I believe you want to be successful and you want to have meaningful relationships with people who are important to you. I also know, from my own experience, that you can do it. You can believe in possibility again so that you get back to going after the so-called “impossible”.
But, I am not the sugar fairy. What you see is what you get. Anybody that knows me will tell you: if my mouth doesn’t say it, my face will. I’m not mean or disrespectful. I’m not Bela Karoli for my gymnastics fans out there, but I believe in transparency and open communication. I will believe you when you say something is important to you but I also believe you’ve hired me to show you things you won’t want to see, where your words and actions may not align. That saying, “Nothing in life worth having was ever easy.” I believe that was said by someone not leveraging a life coach. I can’t eliminate the work required, but I can help you break it down so it feels easier and a journey is typically more enjoyable when not faced alone. More is possible, let’s make your more happen.
