Tax accounting, bookkeeping, profit & loss statements, income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, job profitability analysis.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
Most business owners are very smart people and could figure out how to do accounting and tax preparation on their own, their time may be better spent elsewhere. Sure, it may only take you a few hours per week to complete these financial tasks, or you could spend that time calling customers and building your business.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping business owners grow their business and become more profitable by reducing taxes, reducing expenses, and increasing revenues. I love seeing clients achieve their goals of creating a successful business and one day being able to exit the business and retire happily.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love small businesses of all types as they are the backbone of our economy. I worked for a large corporation for the first 10 years of my career. I felt inspired to start my own business because I could see needs that weren't being met by the larger firms, and I knew I could meet them. Most small businesses get ignored and don't get much financial advice or strategy from their accountants or CPA's. There are so many opportunities to use time tested, legal strategies to reduce your tax bill significantly if you are a business owner.
