I requested a quote online for my parent's house and someone called me very shortly after to set up the appointment. Until now, my mom has never agreed to using a house cleaning service because she never trusted that anyone could do a better job than her. Well, the ladies showed up on time and did a great job! They got blinds, appliances, ceiling fans, etc. And on top of that, they were incredibly efficient with their time and finished the deep clean quicker than anticipated. My mom is super happy and plans to hire them again in the future. The office staff called me afterwards to ask how everything went and to confirm billing information before pushing the charge through, which I appreciated. I'm updating my review after a regroup with the manager. She apologized for the situation and refunded me the oven charge. I appreciate her reaching back out to resolve the issue. Thank you!------------------------------------------------I'm finally writing this review after I did not receive the callback from the manager that was promised...I hired Molly Maid to clean my old apartment after I moved out to prepare for the next tenants. They quoted me @ 2 hours and asked that I run the "self clean" on my oven otherwise it would be an extra charge. Cool. I asked them to call 15 minutes before arrival since they provide a 2 hour window & I don't live there anymore. They confirmed they would & then called me the day of the appointment to say they had arrived instead of the instructions I gave them.Once my fiancé arrived to let them in, he asked them NOT to clean the oven because we hadn't had time to run the self clean with being busy moving. The cleaning person said 'oh don't worry about it', so he said okay thanks.I was supposed to receive a call when they finished so that we could go back and lock up the apartment. They did NOT call.Once we went back that afternoon to check on the apartment & give the keys to the landlord for a final goodbye, I noticed the walls had some cobwebs still on them & the bathroom tub didn't look clean or floor vacuumed in that area, which was very disappointing.I received NO receipt for the services either & it wasn't until I saw my bank statement that I realized I hadn't gotten anything. Also, I felt the charge of $239 was a bit steep for what I was originally quoted. So that's when I called...I called their office & calmly explained I wanted to discuss a few things regarding my previous appointment that I wasn't satisfied with. The manager was VERY rude and kept saying well it's 2 weeks later now & you didn't call earlier; well it's 2 weeks later now & the staff won't remember you. When I brought up the oven, she said I should have called the office, not communicate it to the cleaning team. I am NOT responsible to know the hierarchy of your company. Successful communication of the customer needs with the "correct" staffperson is YOUR responsibility.She didn't even attempt to resolve the issue to keep a customer for the future. And by that response, it was telling me that my dissatisfaction didn't matter and she didn't believe what I was telling her.So... I will never use this service again. They have been cleaning my house for over 3 years. They are thorough. Clean baseboards, ceiling fans, blinds, clean floors, make beds. They always take out all the trash and replace with new bags. Vacuum. Clean bathrooms thoroughly. They are always friendly and respectful. They have never charged more than I was quoted. We called Molly Maid for a move-out deep clean. Faye called me back nearly within an hour of my request, provided details of their cleaning service, and was able to schedule a time to come in. They did a wonderful job! It took them two hours total, and was reasonably priced. They helped me avoid getting a cleaning fee upon moving out of my apartment! Thank you, Faye, and your crew! I have been using Molly Maid of Wilmington for almost 5 years and am very pleased, and I admit I am quite picky. They are always on time, they don't rush around, they are careful about protecting our home while leaving it clean and tidy. My stainless always looks amazing after Molly Maid day. Because of our great experience with our team here in Wilmington we tried using them in another city and were not as pleased. I enjoy when Cierra and Michelle come and clean our house. They are efficient and work well as a team, very organized and they do quality cleaning. I am very pleased with my team, and a little disappointed when I do not get them, which is not often. Sincerely, Kathleen Schwager PS What I can add about Mollie Maid is all the employees are trained to clean the same way. Which is nice, they all use the same tools and equipment. Unless you want them to use something else on your counters that you have, they will use that item to clean with, or if you use a certain brand on the floor they will use yours. Team 12 just came out and spent 4 hours doing amazing things with my home!! Deep cleaning all the places I end up neglecting, they fixed.
