Nicholas has enjoyed the experience more than I thought he would and the agency did what they are suppose to do - provided a great photographer (Rick is amazing), input on photos to go on to card and were quick and efficient. From this point on, it is all about whether Nicholas has the look that clients are looking for out there. Getting work or not, they have no control over. If you are not prepared to invest in good professional photos, that is your loss. I am a teen model who has had a great experience and success with Modelscout. Cobb Jones is awesome and has given me great jobs and opportunities. He keeps great communication with my mom, since I am not 18 just yet. I understand why some people complain about having to pay for compcards or professional pictures. However, these are like your business cards and how the agency promotes you as a model. Modelscout did not make me take pictures with them, since I already had professional modeling pictures from a great photographer. However, Modelscout does work with established photographers who know the business. My mother was also a model, and taught me that a reputable agency will want to present professional pictures, and their brand (in compcards), to clients. As a new model, you will want to have great pictures since many times, these are what will get you the job! The initial investment has not been bad, and I have earned my money back with jobs.
