I have been a bookkeeper since I was 16 years old. I started off working PT for a Hydraulic Cylinder shop, and continued working there after High School as a Full Time Office Manager.

When I was 21, I became a partner in building a Welding company from the ground up. Using QuickBooks, I created and maintained the books for 10 years. I had no official training at this time, so I struggled and stumbled through maintaining the books accurately. With help from our CPA, education and allot of determination, I mastered the do's and don'ts of QuickBooks Desktop. I successfully managed the office, scheduled jobs, estimates, ordered materials...pretty much everything except sales and welding.

Being a Co-Owner of a welding shop for 10 years has been my most valued learning experience. I understand how small businesses work on a level that most bookkeepers don't. I am an entrepreneur and continue my independent career as a freelance bookkeeper. I specialize in bookkeeping for the trades, because I understand their business on a personal level. I grew up in the garage with my dad and two brothers. I have a mechanical mindset and I love analyzing numbers. I absolutely love my job and I love working with small business owners and hearing their stories.

I have much more to offer then just keeping your books. I am an "outside of the box" thinker, and always have ideas on making your workflow more efficient and, of course, make your business more profitable.

I am a bookkeeper as well as a problem solver.
