Misty took my engagement pictures, and they turned out phenomenal. Even when the session ran much longer than expected, she was patient and excited about the potential for a good shot. I cannot say enough good things about Misty Nolan and her talent and heart. She came to Springfield, IL and we had a couple of ideas about locations. She scouted them and suggested we change our original idea of where to start. She thought one of the other locations was perfect. We thought “Sure! Why not! You’re the professional.” We couldn't be happier we placed ourselves into her hands and let her skill and eye lead us.

The photos are simply incredible. I’m a graphic designer so I can be very critical of images and I've been blown away by her work. Other designers that I work with cannot believe the quality, the spirit, the fun and the beauty of her images.

Talent aside, Misty was a true joy to work with. We can be a bit of an outgoing, hard-to-corral group. Her spontaneity and sense of fun meshed with our group so well. She was able to move us along while allowing us room to be ourselves during the sessions. Not an easy task.

Do yourself a favor and seek Misty out if you are in need of capturing a special moment. Do yourself another favor if you do, let this woman do what she does best. You won’t be disappointed. That’s a guarantee. Thank you so much Misty. More...

Misty was able to fit is in at the last minute after another photographer canceled. She did an excellent job with the family and kept the shoot short and sweet which was perfect for us. Misty was hands-down one of the most important people of our wedding day. She acted as our photographer, planner, coordinator, lighting specialist, mood setter, and even helped with a dress fiasco! The day of our wedding we had issues with our DJ which she handled so smoothly and without a second thought, she worked with our tight pre-ceremony timeline, and became fast friends with every other business involved to really make everything flow together. At our engagement session she quickly made my husband and I feel at ease with her and the camera. She answered every question I could think of (even the ones that had nothing to do with photography) with quick responses any day of the week and never made me feel like I was bothering her. All this with amazing (fast!) photography! We started getting sneak peeks of our wedding pictures on our honeymoon the next day, and had received our entire wedding album a WEEK after our wedding, even though it was peak wedding season! We were absolutely amazed. Overall if I had to redo everything there are a lot of details I would change but Misty is absolutely not one of them. I would recommend her to anyone/everyone! More...

We met Misty through a friend and ended up having her sit at our table at the wedding reception. We are so grateful and blessed to have had that opportunity.
